EURO PACIFIC PRECIOUS METALS REBRANDS AS SCHIFFGOLD

New York City – International gold dealer Euro Pacific Precious Metals has been rebranded as SchiffGold, corresponding with the launch of a new website and visual identity for the firm. In addition, the company announced the launch of SchiffOro, a Spanish-language subsidiary that will serve customers in Latin America. The changes follow a period of rapid expansion in the company’s sales and customer base. 

Famed investor Peter Schiff founded Euro Pacific Precious Metals in 2010. He had long recommended to many of his brokerage clients that they invest in physical gold and silver, but could not in good conscience recommend any of the major gold dealers on the market. His new gold dealership broke from common industry practices by refusing to sell collectible gold and silver products, while warning consumers of the high markups associated with numismatics. 

The scope and services of what is now SchiffGold have grown significantly in the intervening years, now to include gold IRAs, international storage options, and exclusive barterable bullion products. This spring, the company became the first major gold dealer in the world to accept the digital currency Bitcoin. In a video message to his subscribers, Mr. Schiff said, “My gold company has grown faster than anyone expected. It started as an offshoot of my brokerage business, but is now a major US gold dealer in its own right. It’s time it had its own brand.”

The new Spanish-language SchiffOro is spearheaded by Dickson Buchanan, Director of International Development for SchiffGold. Buchanan has a Masters in Economics from Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain. Through his studies, he came to understand the critical role precious metals play in capital preservation. Buchanan hopes to bring Peter Schiff’s message of sound money and hard asset investing to what he sees as a burgeoning and often overlooked market in Latin America. 

Director of Marketing Michael Finger says that the rebranding and expansion will not change the fundamental principles of Schiff’s company. “We pride ourselves on delivering discount prices while maintaining a high level of customer service,” said Finger. “Our team of brokers are knowledgeable in Austrian School economics and the precious metals marketplace. We focus on building long-term customer relationships – and this has brought us great success.”
