Ghana's president lies about his efforts in fighting corruption, exposed by Aljazeera

No matter how wealthy you are, if are an illiterate, you will be a fool to believe that your wealth has given you the education necessary to join the intellectual elite. A Ghanaian named Bernard Antwi-Bosiako, alias Chairman Wotumi, who has been denying his engagement in illegal mining, has escaped every possible punishment because crimes in Akufo Addo’s government are committed with impunity. Bosiako can’t keep quiet because he is not aware of how his illiteracy is embarrassing him.

Rich people often avoid punishment for their crimes, and Ghana is no exception. In some nations, including the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Asia, and Europe, wealthy people who commit crimes, embezzlement, and corruption will never escape punishment, while in Ghana, those who battle crime, like Anas, Daniel Domelevo, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Martin Amidu, Prof. Frimpong Boateng; etc; are actually more likely to become the targets of threats and hate.

Bernard Antwi-Bosiako, who has been accused to be operating illegal mining under the registered name “Akonta Mining,” shouldn’t be allowed to roam the streets of Ghana unchecked. However, despite his contribution to destroying Ghana’s eco-system, creating environmental hazards, and polluting the rivers, he has never been detained, interrogated, or brought before the law. In fact, Nana Akufo Addo, the president, defended him while he was being attacked.
