Up-Cycled Nespresso Eyewear?

Maybe you have heard about the shear amount of waste coffee capsules companies such as Nespresso make. Thousands of coffee capsules are ending up in land fills and our waterways. Worse they are difficult to recycle, landing up in our landfills and waterways . Plus.. here we go again, we are creating more trash for a single serving container.

The problem is so great, that in Hamburg, Germany, they banned coffee pods in state run buildings.

Because of the mixture of the materials, pods are not easily recycled. while some people are doing some crafty things, but now one of my favorite Eco-Friendly eyewear companies ,Tipton Eyeworks has joined up to make a limited edition eyewear collection from the recycled aluminum Nespresso coffee capsules.
