A major factor that inhibits bloggers

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

What do you think is your biggest weakness? Temper? NO! The biggest mistake you can make as a blogger is to let your EGO take your blogging life over.

It’s frustrating when you see pro-blogger wannabes tearing themselves down just because THEY CANNOT ACCEPT THEIR MISTAKES.

Blogging is all about creating something from scratch. Every good blogger out there started out as nothing but a beginner who had nothing but a blank page for “blog stats.” They earned their readership.

Why is ego so bad for blogging?

The same reason why we feel despised when we see a “bully” in high school. Because ego makes you forget WHO YOU ARE. You’ll think that you can get your blog to the pinnacle of the ‘blogosphere’ without any work at all.

The truth is that you need to do things seriously. You have to create social networks, online friends, guest bloggers, and so much more. That is, if you want to be a pro-blogger.

You have to be kind enough to ask people about their opinion. You’ll have to take their demands into consideration. Pro-blogging is all about flexibility and cooperation.

As you may know, ego hardly helps keep you FLEXIBLE.

Another major mistake a blogger can make?

A blogger who feels superior to all others would never move up because of two reasons. The inability to LEARN and the ATTITUDE that reflects upon everything.

While starting out, you’ll have to learn so many things ranging from basics to advanced techniques from others. The attitude you have as an egoistic blogger makes you stubborn and you’ll refuse to learn from others.

I have seen many pro-bloggers, their blogs and the comments they get. And I am convinced about the fact that a blogger needs to be patient and flexible.

Would your ego let yourself consider as second to some professional bloggers?

If you felt angry because of the last question, you’ll never become a good blogger for sure. The anger is caused by your ego. TRUST ME!

Blogging is not about the blogger, the author. We are only  mediums. The reader wants what you know. They DO NOT WANT YOU, they want what you can give them!

Leave your ego and free your mind. Freedom is the first thing that a blogger needs.
