Managing Blogs And Social Life At The Same Time

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Every good blogger understands the need to have managing a good social life and blogging at the same time. We also understand the conflict that entails such a choice.

I still remember the day when I had to crawl out of a big party just to respond to a very important email. A serious blogger will have to suffer a lot before achieving something worthy.

There is an easy way

There is no ‘completely‘ easy way to meet both ends (believe me I tried to combine social life and serious blogging). Blogging is time consuming, even for a beginner blogger.

You can always try to ease the burden using two techniques; patience and time management. How did you manage your time? I like to hear about it.

Patience

Being patient has got it’s benefits. I had to put a lot of my time into blogging and promoting my blogs when I was starting out. It was very excruciatingly painful for me.

After a while, everything started to get a lot easier. I reduced my posts and put more time into creating good content. Patience can get you somewhere in blogging.

Time management

I went back to the basics. How did we manage to get to school, avoid all those punishments and do some homework at the same time?

Believe it or not, we created a time management system of our own. A blogger needs to find his own rhythm for blogging.

You should consider finding a comfortable time for blogging. You do not have to be a strict about sticking to the schedule, but find the rhythm.

You need to get social to be a good blogger

An easy way I got rid of my social isolation problem was to use my social skills to develop and expose my blog.

You would be surprise to know how wonderful your blog can be if you use your social skills in social networking sites. The more attactive your profile is, the more exposure your blog gets.

But I was not so lucky at all. I had to start my social networks from scratch. It took me five months of sleepless nights to get some visitors and a good following rate.

Serious blogging requires a lot of sacrifices and dedication. If you cannot dedicate your time and patience, then you cannot be a blogger at all.

How did you manage your blogging and social life?

Did you ever had to sacrifice things like I did?
