Living young to 150 years

Many Westerners are under the mistaken impression that the ancients lived hard and died young, but for some of the masters and their students that was not true. While most of the ancient masters did participate in physical work every day, working in fields, practicing spiritual fighting techniques and simply walking many miles. They also had the advantage of relatively stress-free lives except when wars broke out.

Naturally healthy organic foods and access to pure mineral waters went a long way toward living long, healthy, productive lives.

Some early records from dynasties and monasteries claim that a few of the ancient masters lived well past 150 years. The super-centenarians were mentally acute and physically active until the end.

UCLA Medical Center age researcher Dr. Roy Walford, author of The 120 Year Diet and Beyond The 120 Year Diet argues that the human lifespan can naturally be extended to 140 yearsor longer.

His research over the decades has opened the eyes of many age researchers and paved the way toward new goals in life extension research.

Revere the old and embrace the new

From ancient China and India to the most modern research of today’s 21st Century medical labs, here is the basic knowledge of achieving age reversal relatively quickly and easily:

Your bones are what everything else hangs onliterally. As humans age, poor diets contribute to shrinking bone mass, brittleness, even hunched postures and shrinking height.

None of this is the process of natural aging.

While some attribute the loss of height and poor stature to the long terrm affects of gravity on the human frame, that actually has little to do with it. Gravity can be an enemy or a friend. It’s an enemy if you let it overpower you and become your master. It’s your friend if you use it to maintain muscle and bone mass. Without gravity, maintaining mass is very difficult as weightless astronauts have discovered.

Besides sensible low-impact exercise, eating plenty of calium-rich foods feeds your bones what they need to stay young. Foods that work to destroy the bones are sugar, carbonated drinks, and high caffiene beverages.

Calcium is useless, however, unless the body can absorb it. Calcium must be eaten in combination with a source of Vitamin-D. Even them the body only absorbs about a third of it. The rest passes out as waste.

Some of the foods that are calcium-rich include dairy products sardines, and soybeans.

Vegetarians and vegans believe they’re obtaining sufficient quantities of calcium through vegetables like collard greens, spinach, and sweet potatoes, but they’re mistaken. Research shows those vegetables contain oxalic acid that binds with calcium.

“Oxalic acid, which is abundant in spinach, collard greens, sweet potatoes, rhubarb and beans, binds with calcium, making it unavailable to the body. Phytic acid, an element of dietary fiber, also binds with calcium. Phytic acid is present in high-fiber whole grain foods. High sodium intake does not affect calcium absorption, but it does increase the loss of calcium through urine.”

Avoid the sun as much as possible. Although you need the sun to help your body synthesize Vitamin-D, prolonged exposure over time causes radiation damage to skin cells and aging. Many health professionals suggest exposure to the sun be limited to a maximun of 20 to 30 minutes daily.

Caution: unless you are taking a good Vitamin-D supplement such as organic, toxic-free fish oil, the sun is critical to your good health. recently studies have suggested long term Vitamin-D deficiency may lead to cancer.

Repair damaged skin with key fruits and vegetables high in Vitamin-A known to reverse damage. Choose fruits like mangoes, apricots, and watermelon. Vegetables that contain skin’s fountain of youth include sweet potatoes and spinach (fresh or frozen).

Red-blooded people should limit red meat

More than 50 years of medical and nutritional research has proven that few things age human’s organs faster than red meats, processed foods, and artifical foods. Not only do all those foods lead to weight gain (that also makes you look older), but they trigger the major organs into malfunctioning. That malfunction is (wrongly) called aging.

The process goes into a loop and after some decades what you could “get away” with eating at 17 you cannot at 47. At that point those foods become ticking time bombs and begin accelerating real aging of the major organs.

Yoga exercises can slow the aging process

Ever wonder why the ancients and many of today spiritual masters meditate? It’s not just to have deep thoughts and relevatory insights, although that comes with the process. Meditation also helps keep the body in balance physically and, remarkably, has been shown to slow the body’s internal aging clock.

One of the primary reasons meditation accomplishes so much is that it reduces stress. Stress has been proven to kill.

Stress can cause premature aging, bring on debilitating chronic ilnesses, destroy relationships, and even trigger cancer.

Meditation helps the body overcome stress and the turmoil it causes to the digestive organs.

In recent years yoga has become more popular. Yoga has many meditative exercises that slow, even reverse to some degree, the aging process.

In addition to regular meditation and exercise, proper sleep is crucial. Sleep itself is a form of subconscious meditation.

A simple thing like sleep has a huge impact on the body’s aging clock. For many years Hollywood actresses have stressed that adequate sleep is their biggest beauty and anti-aging secret. That’s true because sleep repairs and renews the body.

New advances

Genetic research has revealed great promise in slowing aging, even reversing it. Medical teams investigating the leading edge of stem cell experiments and therapies, and conducting intense new research into DNA, including telomeres, have found there are huge benefits to be had adding CoQ10 to the daily diet.

Promising breakthroughs with telomere biology alone may enable the aging process to be rest reprogramming and keep DNA stable.

Practitioners of age reversal techniques have attained astonishing results. Ernestine Shepherd, the world’s oldest female body builder, still competes.

Even the ancient masters would marvel at that.
