If you’re severely constipated, have restless leg syndrome, are in pain or fatigued for no known reason, you could be deficient in magnesium. And just because you take enough doesn’t mean your body is absorbing it as most supplements aren’t fully absorbed due to a variety of reason including low stomach acid.
If you suspect you have low magnesium levels, have your doctor order a cellular magnesium level as that is the only true reading of how much magnesium you have available.
