Winter Blues: DIY Elixers That Replace Mood Altering Pharmaceuticals
The weather is getting chillier and the sun is setting sooner; which means less Vitamin D and more hibernating individuals. In colder climates with less sunlight their have been studies that the deppression rate in those states were higher than the ones in warmer climates; which makes perfect sense because an individuals Vitamin D levels affect their serotonin. Let me add that dopamine and serotonin are similar in the sense that both neurotransmitters when are working at their highest potential both make you feel exsquisite. Although, dopamine regulates muscle movement, motivation, and the sensation of pleasure. Serotonin on the other hand affects the mood, implusiveness, and social behaviors. Even I personally feel the Winter Blues at times and recently it has really kicked in. I will share with you my recipes and supplements that I take to increase my dopamine and serotonin levels for a happier and healthier Radical Rose all Winter long!

I took this herb and went to workout and I felt so relaxed I could hardly push out enough energy to finish an hours worth of working out.
Smells:
Jasmine, Lavender, Patchouli, Rose, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Clary Sage, Basil, Bergamot, Chamomile
*I make a perfume with Ylang Ylang and Rose essential oil. Only a few drops goes a long way. It smells heavenly, affordable, and healthy!*
Mood Boosting Tips:
* Listening to any soul changing bands like Simon & Garfunkel, Chicago, and espicially Steely Dan’s albums are a total spirit lifter and mood booster!
*Eating cheese cubes with a strawberry and honey on top makes my world go round…and certainly should makes yours too!
* Be around friends, family, and your lover this increases the release of Oxyocin (The Love Hormone). Even more of a boost when you hug them…ya dig!
Hope these tips help you and have an exsquisite day!
Sincerely,
Radical Rose
