Songs That Increase Dopamine: Scientifically Proven By Nature Neuroscience.
I’m always interested in increasing serotonin and dopamine through my diet and herbal medicine. The cool thing is you can also increase your dopamine through music! All you need is a relaxed mindset and your two ears! Nature Neuroscience published a study a while back stating that these songs below increase your dopamine in your brain.
I’m listening to this song write now as I write this I honestly can say I feel quite serene at the moment. I may add that I’m drinking a cup of kava kava tea with basil leaves so that definetly adds to the euphoric feeling I’m experiencing at this moment.
Feeling classy…;)
I know I’ve heard this on a movie I just watched…I just cannot recall what movie. Whateva’s it’s not only a spiffy songs but I’m feeling quite fantastic listening to it right now.
I feel like I should be wearing glow in the dark braclets and a bunch of scarfs while listening to it. Nice to have a heavy rockish side while increasing dopamine.
LOVE THIS SONG…AHH I’M IN LOVE. It’s blasting as loud as it can go on my computer speakers right now.
Aww…this song just makes me wish I was on a boat in the Summer while wearing roses in my hair and snuggling with my lover and cat. A quite refreshing song.

Every time I hear John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High” I experience a deep spiritual union with the Creator.

thats the most terrible version of adagio for strings i have ever heard….
It’s called frission and there is no song that is universal for everyone because tastes are so different, but some songs are more known for giving frission than others, like Adagio for Strings. However I would listen to the orchestral version which is hauntingly beautiful and a frission starter for sure. Other than that wait for the chills… if they come the song is a winner!
“I’m always interested in increasing serotonin and dopamine through my diet and herbal medicine. The cool thing is you can also increase your dopamine through music!” Perfect words. What a great post I hope people get the message rather than getting lost in their own opinions. We create our Lives, our Reality and our Love through our own senses <3
True!
My son listen to hard metal and to be honest he looks sick all day.
As a matter of fact he looks like a typical American. Sad to see.
Help your son with what he listens to and the tv shows he likes to watch so important…

we are ALL affected by sound – so very important to be in harmony…..MUSIC is connected to our vibrations – ‘
Thanks for the feedback. Yes I need to get him to stop listening to that horrible music. It does not help that his workmates and managers listen to the same hung HO heavy metal nonsense. He is turning into a strange obscure person whom I just don’t know. He eats too many donuts as well. Must be his cop friends.
Have him listen to Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Clapton, Kirk Hammet…Have him learn classical piano first!
I’ve been playing for many many many years..In Sourthern California. Chose a different carreer, however I have many of my friends who are still playing strong, toured the world, and still staying good! Voodoo Glow Skulls, Gwen Stephanie, Alien Ant Farm, Van Halen, Metallica (I grew up with the folks and still have contacts with them) Orange County and IE here….Bands have to break away, do the family time, then get back into the groove and have fun! BTW – The coolest dude I have ever met is Tommy Shaw of Styxx,…Just a basic cool guy..Also Tim McGraw, really cool guy.. So folks, you can play music, have a good time…Make things of yourselves…Be good, raise a good family, stay true…and HAVE FUN!
This tops em all.

Slaughterhouses and Factory Farms can increase your dopamine and serotonin too.. listen to the wonderful sounds of livestock screaming for peace and happiness.
Im sure the kava kava tea with basil leaves definitely helped to put you into a relaxed state of mind naturally and that is what it is all about finding your own keys to free your own mind thanks again for a stimulating and hopefully mind expanding post Radical Rose
Were you just listing songs you like, because I couldn’t get past one minute of any of them. None of them do anything for me. I don’t see a link to any study in this article either. I’m pretty sure the guy in the last video is just stoned, his “discussion” is really just an opinion mixed with generic well known facts.
This is a very cool post..Thanks..for us musicians, this is really cool. for the dopamine..don’t know…but very awesome music! Thanks from Riverisde Cali!

Couldn’t listen to but a few seconds of each.
Question…..does it matter what device you are using while listen to the music?
Just wondering, because even though a song maybe recorded in the specific realm of our vibration…what would be the purpose if the device isn’t?
I am not electronic guru, but aren’t computers, phones and electronic devices set to a specific frequency?
