The Vitamin Mineral Shop LLC Announces the Re-launch of the Primary Company Website

Because of the discontinuance of a service by a credit card processor, the site was redone to use a new credit card processor and new shopping cart.

Clinton Township, Michigan – The Vitamin Mineral Shop, LLC, a marketer of Vitamin Power products, is proud to announce the re-launch of its primary company website for all of its Vitamin Power products. The web site redesign is a result of the discontinuance of a service which was announced in 2013.

With the discontinuance of the credit card processing service, the shopping cart it offered was also discontinued. So the site was redone to provide a shopping cart that worked seamlessly with the website, provided security, and worked with the credit card processor’s system.

Replacing the shopping cart was no easy task. All of the off the shelf shopping card products appeared to provide everything that was needed, but they all appeared to work best when starting from scratch. While this could have be done for the Artichoke Supplement specialty site, it would have been prohibitive for the larger Vitamin Mineral Shop main site with more than two hundred existing web pages and countless back links from other websites to pages other than the home page. Still, over two hundred web pages were updated for the change.

With the data breaches at several big name stores, the security screening of websites having credit card processing has increased. The Vitamin Mineral Shop is proud to say the site has passed the security screening done by a third party security firm recommended by the credit card processor.
