Pine Pollen Can Increase Dopamine And Decrease Depression (Video).

So why would you want to increase dopamine? What is dopamine? Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that helps you feel motivated, happy, and focused. How do you know what having a lot of dopamine feels like? Well if you have ever been in love…and hopefully many of you nuggets have been….do you remember the “honeymoon phase”….that’s what it’s like. Their are many ways to increase dopamine but right now I’m going to share what I have read about on pine pollen increasing dopamine.

Pine tree pollen is essentially the dust that prolifically fills the air in higher alpine climates around the world, leaving a thin yellow dusting on anything under the tree or a short distance away. In addition, the pollen also contains a substance called phenylalanine that is related to brain neurotransmitters.  It is known as an L-dopa precursor, stimulating dopamine levels in the brain. 

L-dopa has been proven beneficial for women who have orgasmic dysfunction (inability to have an orgasm).  Another important ingredient in pine pollen is arginine, which increases the release of growth hormones and improves fertility in women, in addition to sperm count in men
