There are three bills in the Pennysylvania House Consumer Affairs Committee for captive ratepayers to opt out of a Smart Meter: HB 899, HB 902, and HB 906. However, committee Chairman Robert Godshall refuses to release the bills for a vote. He doesn’t see any ‘value’ in these bills.

Could that be because he has received $28,100 in campaign contributions from electric utilities so far this year? Not too long ago, Grey was the manager of PECO’s tree trimming. Just asking……….

[81 year old Robert Godshall has an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance, identifed by Dr John Coleman as a prominent extension of the London based Tavistock Institute of Human Relations]

[Grey Godshall is also currently the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Franconia Township in Pennsylvania]

There is an aura of impropriety here, and it seems that Chairman Godshall is putting the interests of PECO ahead of the citizens of Pennsylvania. Oh yes: if PECO installs 660,000 Smart Meters, the Federal Government will give them $200 million. That’s about half of the cost to install all the meters, even after we each pay out $300 for a Smart Meter. [Editor's note: I wonder where the other 100 million goes?]

We need to bury our Senators and Representatives in an avalanche of letters, faxes, emails and phone calls to demand that our interests be put ahead of the people and businesses who are benefitting from foisting the Smart Meter disaster on all of us. What’s it going to be? It is an election year [Dottie Miller (DEM) is running against Chariman Robert Godshall in November 2014].
