Is Ebola on the Verge of becoming an Epidemic in the United States? It is Already a Full-fledged Epidemic!
Is Ebola on the Verge of becoming an Epidemic in the United States? It is Already a Full-fledged Epidemic!

First, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tells us that to contract the Ebola virus, you must have a transfer of bodily fluids, and that it cannot be transferred through the air by just sitting next to the infected patient on an airplane. Then, they tell us that the infected patient made contact with 80 people in the United States. Why are the CDC doctors so concerned with these 80 contacts unless the infected patient osculated with them or had intimate relations with them to transfer bodily fluids? If so, the infected patient is quite prolific!
The question I have is this: If those two American doctors who had previously contracted Ebola while working with Ebola patients in West Africa had on that protective gear that covered their entire bodies, how then did they contract Ebola? That indicates that you could be totally protected yet still catch the Ebola virus. That also tells me that if the Ebola patient had 80 contacts with people (probably shook hands, talked to face-to-face, or hugged some of them) in the United States, we could see the beginning of an epidemic of epic proportions if these 80 people come down with the Ebola virus. I shudder to think what could happen right here in our own backyard.
