Stamets has created what’s been labeled as “SMART” pesticides, which uses “entomopathogenic fungi” (fungi that destroys insects). His discoveries are able to control over 200,000 species of insects and he was granted patents on this back in 2006.

In 2006, a patent was granted to Paul Stamets. Paul is the world’s leading mycologist, and his patent has received very little attention and exposure, why? This might lend a clue,  executives in the pesticide industry have said, his patent represents “the most disruptive technology we have ever witnessed.” What do these executives mean by disruptive? They are referencing it as being “disruptive” directly towards the chemical pesticides industry, bam!

So, What Has Paul Discovered That Can Change The World?

He has figured out how to use nature’s own creations to keep insects from destroying crops, pure genius. It’s what is being called SMART pesticides. These smart pesticides are life changing because they provide safe & nearly permanent solutions for controlling 200,000 species of insects. The fungi or mushrooms are miraculous and incredibly powerful which is presenting one of the best ways to change the world!

Stamets does this by taking entomopathogenic Fungi (fungi that destroys insects) and morphs it so it doesn’t produce spores. The result of this will actually attract the insects, who then eat and turn into fungi, from the inside out!

Paul’s patent has potential to revolutionize the way farmers grow crops, if it is allowed to reach the masses. We need Paul’s work and discovery to go viral to prevent Monsanto from making this go away and somehow burying this world changing discovery.
