McDonald's Biggest Deadly Secret Ingredient Will Infuriate You

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

McDonald’s has made SumOfUs hopping angry, according to an email blast Wednesday morning. You’ll be infuriated, too, when you learn what the mega-hamburger corporation has been secretly serving in every meal. How it got away with this for as long as it did is frightening, considering the increasing number of deaths due to it. McDonald’s is an icon of modern society. Billions have been served its meals worldwide since first introduced 76 years ago.

“But one detail has been missing from this contemporary legend: the gross amount of antibiotics that have been pumped into the famous McDonald’s beef patty,” says the SumOfUs.

Post-Antibiotic Era

Scientists warn that humans are rapidly approaching a “post-antibiotic era”. Overusing antibiotics has resulted in bacteria becoming immune to them — thus becoming killer superbugs.

Antibiotics have saved millions of lives, but misusing and overusing them has made them less effective because bacteria develop a resistance to them. Despite scientists’ warnings, antibiotic prescriptions continue soaring and antibiotic use in farming is at record levels — meaning your McD meal is literally helping you kill yourself and your children. Doctors are seeing infections they simply cannot treat.

“It’s downright dangerous. And fast-food restaurants like McDonald’s are feeding the crisis,” asserts SumOfUs.

In other words, McDonalds is helping to create the perfect superbug that scientists warn is leading humanity to an Antibiotic Apocalypse.

Not First Time McDonald’s Encountered Public Pressure to Change

“After losing unhappy customers due to antibiotics in its chicken supply, McDonald’s cleaned up its menu in its U.S. restaurants and banned chicken raised on antibiotics that are important to human medicine. This shows that change is possible — but it won’t happen without public pressure,” SumOfUs says.

“Now we need to see that change for beef and pork too, and beyond just U.S. restaurants. We need a commitment to reduce antibiotics for all of the animals involved in the behemoth McDonald’s supply chain, and for franchises worldwide.

Antibiotic resistance is threatening humanity’s ability to survive even the most common illnesses.

McDonald’s is worth a staggering $39 billion and operates 36,000 cafes. Its cultural impact as the corporate face of hamburgers and fast food is much more significant, according to SumOfus.

“Getting an international, public-facing corporation like McDonald’s to stop the overuse of antibiotics would send shock waves through the industry.

“We know McDonald’s responds to public pressure because we’ve fought it before — and won. Over 200,000 SumOfUs members demanded that McDonald’s stop participating in global deforestation by rewriting its palm oil policy. And that’s exactly what it did. Now we need to do it again — our health depends on it.

SumOfUs is encouraging the reader to tell McDonald’s: Put antibiotics out to pasture. Commit to higher standards across the board. Commit to cut medicated meat from the menu.

SumOfUs is a worldwide movement of people working together to hold corporations accountable for their actions and forge a new, sustainable path for the global economy.

For the sake of our children and children’s children, I hope you click the link to tell McDonald’s to only use organic. Chemical genocide is happening to us, but we still have somewhat of a choice.

There is a compelling video made by a shareholder of MickeyDs floating about YT. The guy wascredible and explain how the meat for bugers was prep

      • Danika

prepped and the secret ingredient. I can’t even say it.

I will never eat another meal from that place.

      • Deborah Dupre

Thank you, Danika. I met someone who worked in a meat factory who told me he NEVER eats hamburger meat of any kind because of what he sees every single day.

    • Redlist Renegade

Antibiotics and LOTS of PEOPLE meat !!! As Old Ronald McDonald would say “You deserve a BREAK today”…….from having to ingest ANY more McBULLSHIT !!!!

I think McDonalds is doing a great job in cleaning out the gene pool a little bit. I last had a Big Mac in 1973, the last time I ate anything from there. I still haven’t fully recovered from that.

      • Deborah Dupre

        LOL. Love ya, Mitch.

I’m sure readers will have lots of creative suggestions. Workable solutions will have to operate at many levels in a coordinated fashion. Here are a few ideas:

To fight resistance, we need to act simultaneously at every step of the food chain and in our environment. First, we need an oversight board that would review every doctor’s request to prescribe an antibiotic based on lab tests that show a bacterium is the cause of the ailment and that it is not resistant to the requested antibiotic. Such lab tests don’t take long, usually. Only then should it be prescribed, and the patient’s proper use of the drug has to be monitored. This will add to the cost of prescribing antibiotics which will be offset by fewer prescriptions.

Obviously, antibiotic use in food production has to be halted, immediately, which will require measures to reduce infections such as ending factory farms where animals are raised in confined spaces. We will need to use vaccines and screen animal feed (which should rarely be needed in organic farming) for harmful bacteria and/or sterilize it. Screening used to test food for humans will have to be more thorough. Antiseptics will need to be used (differently, of course) instead of antibiotics. Antibiotic treatment of infected animals will have to be approved based on lab tests, just like for humans.

The labs and regulators must should be government-run, with no connection to the pharmaceutical industry. Jill Stein, candidate for president, has good ideas for preventing the pharmaceutical industry (and other regulated industries) from influencing government regulation as they have done so far. This could be incorporated into her Medicare for All plan, in which everyone would have coverage, and real people, not corporations (including the insurance industry), would administer the program.

Research on the new forms of treatment will need to have a higher priority, and we should not depend on the for-profit pharmaceutical industry.

The prevalence of antibiotics in our environment, such as in the human and animal waste stream, will drop substantially as a result of these measures. Nevertheless we have to develop a means of coping with multitude of drugs that end up in the waste stream. This will have to be a high priority item. As with all such preventive measures, it will cost money but will result in big savings with regard to environmental and human health. In other words, it will be a good financial investment. As with other measures, it should not be privatized and companies cannot be trusted to self-police.

If this sounds complicated, it’s because we have created a complicated mess, as documented in the two videos above. And it is only a part of the integrated plan we will need to deal with the social and environmental disaster created by the neoconservatives and neoliberals at the behest of the military-industrial complex running our government.

The first step is to kick out the Democratic and Republican cronies, and reject the legal status of corporations as people.

Wow ! this is the first time ive ever seen everyone agree together! lol And i am jumping into the party as well. We here in Southeast Kansas have heard Horror stories which might even give Freddy Kruger Nightmares!! I cant say for sure so wont say it, unless proven ., but the rumors involve Human flesh and , involve children. I wont say anything else. Folks Corporations like Mc Donalds wont change unless forced too, but my opinion on the matter is this: Let them sink! Everyone boycott them period like i have for over 10 years! BTW i once bought a Big Mac , brought it home and accidently left it out on the counter. It got shoved behind the Microwave ov en, where it stayed for over2 weeks. While cleaning one day i found it , and couldnt believe my eyes, even the flies were leaving it alone!!, no bugs would touch it, and the Lettuce still seemed ok!!! It didnt even smell bad!!!! After that i never ate at any fast food place!! Except for one: Braums. Braums doesnt feed antibiotics, or steroids , too their cattle . When you fry the meat at home you can litterly smell the difference. BTW i am not trying too drum up buiseness for Braums , nor am i a employee of them. Its just that when you find a good place you tend too advertise. After 5 years of not eating at Mc Donalds i decided too try a big mac one day as they had them on special. After eating it i felt sick, litterly felt like i had a flu bug. Since then i havent eaten their ever!!! Anyway keep up the good work

There is a reason why its called JUNK FOOD, its garbage and something you eat as a last resort.

Grow your own shit and eat organic! Kepp it up Deborah!

    • Pink Slime

The video seems to contradict itself at the end. What a letdown. I thought they were on to something. But no….

Has anyone taken notice of how bread smells now? It’s like it is fermented and does not smell like fresh bread anymore! Could it be cause they are using GMO grain flours or are they adding something to it in the form of a chemical? Used to get Grisoms Honey Wheat bread from Save-A-Lot cause it was without that smell but the last loaf I got it now has that stinking fermented odor to it, too! It’s even in pancake mixes these days!

      • Paul Brown

Not clear what you mean by a fermented smell. If it smells like yeast, that’s normal. But if it smells like alcohol or vinegar, it may be because it was under-cooked. The yeast ferments the sugar in the dough, producing CO2 which makes bubbles causing it to rise, and alcohol. The alcohol normally evaporates during the baking process, but if under-cooked, you may smell it and also bacteria can turn it to vinegar (like wine going sour).

Some additives may have an unpleasant odor. Potassium bromate, a probable carcinogen, is allowed in baked goods by the US, although banned by most other countries. If the bromine isn’t completely evaporated during baking, I suppose it might have a residual odor of bromine, a nasty smell like chlorine. Baked goods that are bromated should be avoided.

Any added fats can turn rancid, although most commercial breads have antioxidants that should help prevent that. Unfortunately a lot of those antioxidants are bad for you.

There are other additives that should also be avoided, but I don’t think they have an odor.

Best to stick with bread that has no additives, just flour, yeast, sugar, and a little salt. That’s what’s in home-made bread.

      • HAPPY chem TRAILS 2 you

        I’ve noticed that at subway.

      • wiseoldlady

Certainly do know what you are saying. Yes bread is awful anymore.
Why do they add sugar to bread?????

All you need is flour, egg, water, yeast….that’s it.

Paul Brown is wrong about the ingredients.

WalMart bread has that terrible fermented smell. The best bread lately unless organic is at Target (hate to say the word). But it is called “Market Pantry” and has no artificial flavors. Personally detest sugar in any of my foods unless it is a dessert. This bread only has 1g sugar.

Prior to 1980 sugar was not added to the processing and packaging of foods…they used salt. Around 1980 they switched to sugar (corn syrup) and now foods are nasty. Also increased the diabetes industry. Cannot even find a can of tomato puree WITHOUT sugar to make a good spaghetti sauce. All part of the plan to harm humans.

No wonder I used to get constant stomach pains after any Micky D meal.

    • DISPENSER

Just a suggestion, but if you do not approve of McDonald’s, don’t eat there. I don’t.

    • sarah

      I can’t eat at McDonald’s anymore.

I just can’t bring myself to put their food in my mouth.

When I even think of eating their food it makes me feel sick.

    • HAPPY chem TRAILS 2 you

Mickey D’s is part of the NW0 cabal, they’re not interested in providing nutrition. Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that anything American is good. certainly our government wouldn’t allow harmful substances to be put in our food right?? Oh no Of Course not, we have the FDA looking out for us right?? WRONG, it’s all about profit, BIG profit One of the only functions of the federal g0bernment should be to protect the American people, I would prefer that we didn’t have these bloated agencies like the FDA, but as long as we do they should at least DO THEIR JOB, at least make sure that food suppliers aren’t putting blatantly harmful t0xins in our food. Ge0rge W Bu$h signed some kind of law that prevents these companies that make food additives like MSG from being sued, but then what else would you expect from an ignorant NW0 */atican puppet. MSG shouldn’t be allowed in food because its really not healthy, it can cause major heath problems of which obesity is only one. Some people might argue, well alcohol causes heath problems too, ya but we get a warning label for that, we don’t with msg, some people are extremely allergic to it, what it is, is basically soy protein cooked in battery acid, it adds flavor to food ya, well if mercury added flavor to food would you want it to be legally put in food? most people would say NO. But they will continue to get away with this because people will keep buying it.

    • Morgana Le Fay

This is nothing new, and isn’t limited to McDonald’s. Essentially all beef, poultry, and fish obtained from restaurants and grocers are pumped full of antibiotics unless otherwise specified. Even that is questionable, because if you read the labels on the food that supposedly doesn’t contain them, it usually states something along the lines of “our farmers PLEDGE. . .” not to use antibiotics—or in the case of milk—rbST hormones. In other words, the grocery chains probably do very little to test what they’re selling to ensure the farmers are following through with their “pledge”. Unless you’re raising your own livestock or happen to know a butcher or farmer who doesn’t use them (which is extremely rare), there’s no way to ensure what you’re eating.

      • Morgana Le Fay

(I forgot to add pork to the list of meats I mentioned. Basically, all meats are full of antibiotics.)
