Flu Shot Warning: CDC Is Reporting a ‘Record-Breaking,’ but Unsubstantiated Flu Death Claim

(NaturalHealth365) It’s about that time of year again when the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health officials begin to drum up “awareness” about the need for influenza vaccine. An official September 2018 press release from the National Foundation for Infectious Disease (NFID) urges people to blindly follow the CDC recommendations, a flu shot for “everyone 6 months and older.”

6-month old infants?  Really?!  And I guess we’re supposed to ignore the fact that the CDC itself admits this vaccine is not very effective, with estimates for the 2017-2018 season showing a 40% ‘positive’ result.

You read that right: the influenza vaccine is shown not to work the majority of the time.  And, to make matters worse, the number of people falling ill or dying from the actual flu is grossly exaggerated.

Cutting through the “alarmist” noise: The truth about flu-related deaths

According to the aforementioned NFID press release, the 2017-2018 flu season was a “record-breaking” one, allegedly giving rise to “900,000 hospitalizations and more than 80,000 deaths in the U.S.”

But words matter. Here’s something public health officials don’t want you to know:

Reporting agencies use “flu” and “flu-like illness” interchangeably – even though the CDC acknowledges these are not the same thing.

In other words, of the 80,000 deaths allegedly caused by “the flu” during the 2017-2018 season, most of these were not actually caused by the influenza virus. In fact, based on true data (rather than “official” estimates), the majority of these “flu” deaths can be attributed to pneumonia – an “influenza-like illness” which claims many more lives than the flu, and which certainly can’t be prevented by getting a flu shot!

Members of the esteemed Cochrane community (who systematically review scientific literature) sum it up starkly: actual flu deaths (as determined by tallying up real death certificates) total close to just 1,000 per year on average. The rest comes from illnesses (which a flu shot doesn’t protect against anyway) including respiratory conditions caused by bacteria, fungi, environmental toxins, and non-influenza viruses.

The evidence-based reality: flu shots are more harmful than helpful

Even if and when a flu shot does work, the general safety of an influenza vaccine (which contains neurotoxic and carcinogenic ingredients) cannot be overlooked.

Research from around the world confirms that serious adverse reactions or even death can occur within hours after receiving the flu shot – especially among young children. Research also shows that getting a flu shot during pregnancy increases the risk of a miscarriage – and increases the risk of having children with birth defects and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism.

Plus, a growing body of evidence is revealing an important yet oft-hushed fact: receiving a flu shot year after year can actually make you more likely to come down with an actual case of the flu. This is because repeated exposure to the flu vaccine blunts the effectiveness of subsequent vaccines – whose effectiveness are already paltry to begin with (again – something the CDC readily admits).

For instance, researchers at the British Columbia CDC discovered that people who received a seasonal flu vaccine in 2008 were actually twice as likely to fall ill with the H1N1 flu back in 2009. This so-called “Canadian problem” has since been confirmed in populations from other countries.

Given all these harmful affects of the influenza vaccine, you might wonder why public health officials are so gung-ho about urging people to get the flu shot (and push it upon their loved ones).

The answer is pretty simple.

Selling the flu shot is BIG business

The flu vaccine market is expected to be worth $3 billion within the next five years, and most of the public health officials reporting on the flu have their hands deep in the coffers of flu vaccine manufacturers. Again from a 2010 Cochrane: “Studies funded from public sources [have been] significantly less likely [than industry-funded studies] to report conclusions favorable to the vaccines…The review showed that…there is evidence of widespread manipulation of conclusions and spurious notoriety of the studies.”

So as we enter the 2018-2019 “flu season,” be aware that many of the reported statistics on illnesses and death related to the flu are more PR than they are transparent science. The flu is simply not a major cause of death as the CDC would have you believe – and the flu shot isn’t the end-all-be-all answer to keep yourself and your loved ones healthy.

There are far better ways to avoid the flu by supporting your immune system with healthy (organic) foods and high-quality supplements like, vitamin C and D.
