As I remember its en mass (pronounced on mass) French I think.. Considering the numbers killed by practitioners doctors surgeons nurses for various reasons of “misadventure” perhaps it will result in a saving of lives
This isn’t new. I had one doctor back in the 90s who lived a frugal life and saved up enough to buy a sailboat and move to some south american island when he was in his 40s. I told another doctor I had that one of my doctors was retiring, and he said “be glad for him” and I said “I am glad for him, but sad for me, he is a good doctor” and the dude said “no, be glad for him, most of us want out”.
Within 2 years he had closed up shop.
And, I don’t go to doctors anymore. I am more afraid of drugs and the pushers in the medical industry that push them that I would rather deal with illness than them, and I would rather be dead than go through the horrors of the medical system.

one of the problems , the doctors use medical assistants in their offices. these are unlicensed people with a very short training. they do not make the effort to follow through to get the prior authorizations needed. it took me 4 months to get the results of a test I had. I went to the place I had the test , took it to the office. then got a call about my results…. really. when the doctors add staff , they need to hire licensed helpers who really follow through.
