Masks do not work. There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.
Furthermore, the relevant known physics and biology, are such that masks and respirators should not work. It would be a paradox if masks and respirators worked, given what we know about viral respiratory diseases: The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.

Sorry – fact check, your protection is based on the filter rating, distance from source(an inverse reciprocal), magnitude of the source dose and the end inoculum which depends upon all the other factors.
FFP3 filters out 99.7% of all particulates – HOWEVER if that mask has a blown plastic layer this blows ALL ASSUMPTIONS out of the water, because water particles are charged – as is the blown plastic – this removes 100% of the Virus laden particles regardless of secondary filters.
Even FFP2 at 80%+ will remove most of someones cough or sneeze the 100% of the rest at the blown plastic filter.
Any mask is better than nothing,
medically rated cloth masks (5 folds from a carding machine) in a mask is good for 4 – 8 hours depending upon use and will reduce your inoculum in accordance with the relevant US standard – if you have learned to breathe IN through the mouth and out through the nose which creates a seal around the lips.
However the stuff you bought from China which is – a mask without a filter rating- is effectively cosmetic. You would have made a much better program chasing up fakes & knockoffs from China being panic bought as the real thing.

Get a can of hair spray, deoderant – anything aerosol. Spray it through your mask. Virus particles are a bazillionth times smaller and will go through the same mask even more easily. And because your mask is moist on the inside from you breathing viruses can ‘hang’ there until you breathe them in. It’s not rocket science. Plus, you can’t get an immunity from a virus unless you get a virus and your body develops an immunity to it. There are CURES if you’ve been paying attention. And there are PREVENTATIVES as well, if you care to do a little research. Trust in God and ask Him to protect you, BELIEVING. But if you still trust idiot politicians with your health your prognosis won’t be good at all.
The mask is a FARCE of epic proportions. You got Presidents to governors and every official in between wearing them when it does NOT protect you from a virus from a scientific and technical standpoint.
Can I say Hillaryous? Sure I can!
That is why I NEVER wear a face mask combined with doughnut-eating to protect me from idiots. God help you all.
