Please cut the German atrocity propaganda. It weakens your argument. Anybody who knows history knows that image is taken at the front in combat. The German military fought against the communists and that this was typically a partisan operation.
The allies often summarily executed innocent German women and children en masse who were never partisans or civilian combatants. These pictures are never shown because German citizens caught with cameras were summarily executed by the allies.

My rule of thumb for the 21st century is anything the Govt suggests you don’t do, probably is a good idea to “do”
& anything the govt wants you to do it’s probably better if you don’t “do”.
