I found out back in the early 1980′s from a doctor at the University of Toronto I worked with who had a large hydroponic setup this. The seeds produce from his plants would not germinate for later use. There is something that only growing in soil, which is natural is lacking in the chemical solutions fed to hydroponic plants.
U better check ur opinion on growing in water. ive been growing in AQUAPONICE 4 5 YEARS NOW. plants in water,water and media, airo ponics(fine mist in air).. they all work… JUST FYI HYDOPONICS WILL NOT TASTE AS GOOD AS SOIL OR AQUAPONICS..
