My Spirits are Good and I am Well!

Every day I come to work I have to wonder if I will be the one to bring the virus home. On my last post I described how I approach the way I combat contracting it. Yet, is it enough???

Besides walking around in a spacesuit what else can I do???

It worries my Dear Wife (DW) a lot. She is a health professional and is terrified every day that the household is going to be infected and that will be that for all of us because of our ages.

I try hard to keep her Spirits up, but it is hard.

I on the other hand am optimistic that things will work out as best as they can. Yes, I am the “glass is half full” guy.

Why be positive??? Why not???

Hey, I am no Nutty Professor, but I know that Stressing about this on a constant basis can not be good for me mentally and I am sure as a bag of doughnuts…………I mean a bag of Pork Skins that chemical reaction your body goes through when you are extremely Stressed or Afraid can not be good for the immune system.

So what’s for Dinner or what I refer to my second meal of the day:

Yes, a nice greasy bowl of PORK………..PORK ummm……..STEW I guess.

Well, I had a giant Rack of Pork Ribs. I cut off the top portion and cut it up into chunks and braised them in a deep pot with lots of spices such as paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, turmeric, chili powder salt and pepper and there you go. It made it’s own thick orange colored greasy sauce. Thus the orange grease on the spoon.

What’s for dinner today??? Only time will tell.

I had as couple of boiled EGGS this morning with a cup of plain black Joe aka coffee.

On the weekends sometimes I spoil myself and add a little Heavy Whipping Cream to my coffee.

Oh so now that you brought up coffee and know there is some out there that don’t do coffee and to them I say Good if not Great for them. I on the other hand will continue to drink it.

OH……….yeah……….I was going somewhere with the coffee deal and I just don’t know what it was…..OK now I remember!!! I now percolate my coffee old school on the weekends and what a difference it is INDEED:

This is the old school percolator that sits right on the fire. A little pain in the rear to make, but worth the effort.
