My Spirits are Great and I am feeling good if not GREAT!

Do people still read old school blogs??? I dunno……. or do I? No, I don’t. 

Again, another quantum leap in time that has passed by since I last wrote. 

“So, why have you been M.I.A. Dave?”

Who said that??? My guess would be “Cyber Mom”, she has a way of keeping me in line….lol!

To tell the truth I was not going to come back to update this blog. Just about everyone is on Social Media now-a-days. I personally don’t do Social Media. I tried to do it a little incognito “ish” and decided it was not for me. I like my life as private as I can manage. It’s a personal choice. For those who choose that lifestyle: More Power to YOU!

OK, so I left the blog up for those who might stumble on it and get a true to life document experience of someone who chose a Zero Carb (ZC) Lifestyle and reaped the rewards. I can thank Charles Washington and all those wonderful folks on the Original Zeroing In On Health (ZIOH) Forum for my start. 

I click on the link to the blog now and then just to re-read my experience and so on. I had some really good memories from that time. It was fun and exciting times for me.

I do get emails from time to time asking questions about my experience or help. I give some advice, but how hard is this lifestyle? 

NOT AT ALL!

Let me tell you a story: I remember as a new member of the ZIOH forum I stated something like: “This is easy”……. one member replied “I’m glad it’s easy for you” or something like that. It made me feel ashamed that I got with the program from the start. I know that this particular member was having a hard time, but addictions are hard to break. I felt sorry for him. From time to time he would take a cheap swipe at me as I progressed in my weight loss, but that only made me feel pity for him that he was not able to succeed. OK, enough of that. 

Why that story? 

Because, I wanted everyone to understand that I had my moments of doubt as a new person taking a “Leap of Faith” with a new eating lifestyle and that we should all be positive to others instead of being negative because your struggles. He should of been inspired of my success instead casting out a cheap shot. 

On the other hand: there was a member that I referred to as my “little Greek sister” that had a tag under her name that went something like this:

“Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.”

I will never forget that quote, never.

Awhile back I tried to do a series of posts reevaluating my experiences….actually I tried a couple of times, but my heart was not in it and I stopped both times.

Where was I going with this???? “LOST IN SPACE” Hahahaha!!!


Look-it: I really just want to say “HI” to those that stop by and read.

Will I be back? Will I shut it down? Will I become a MILLIONAIRE? Ahhh so many questions, so little time.

Battles are won daily, but the War still rages on. Live Long Stay Strong and Always Battle On!!!
