Biggest story neglected in 2021?
- Children are by far the lowest risk of severe COVID-19 infection; the COVID measures are therefore having an undue impact on children and teenagers
- Suicide attempts among girls rose 51% in 2021.
- Between 2019 and 2020, adolescent mortality from overdoses rose from 2.35 per 100,000 to 4.58 per 100,000, an increase of 94.3%.
- The number of fentanyl deaths in adolescents almost tripled between 2019 and 2020, accounting for 76.6% of adolescent overdose deaths in 2021.
- Children’s health is also being decimated by the COVID vaccination mandates. A declaration signed by 16,000 doctors and scientists calls for the abolition of all COVID vaccinations for children
“They will pay for the choices our generation makes for the rest of their lives”: @JanCBS
explains why she believes the devastating impact of COVID policies on children was the biggest underexposed story of 2021
As CBS reporter Jan Crawford noted on a Face the Nation panel on December 26, 2021, children are by far the lowest risk of developing serious COVID-19 infection, and therefore, in her view, COVID policies have an inordinate impact on children and young people.
Even teenagers have a one-in-a-million chance of developing COVID and dying from it, which is far less than … dying in a car accident while driving. But they suffered and sacrificed the most, Crawford said.
And now the Surgeon General says there is a mental health crisis in our children. Girls’ risk of attempting suicide is up 51% this year, and black children are almost twice as likely to die from suicide as white children.
School closings, lockdowns, cancellation of sporting events. You couldn’t even go to a playground in the DC area without the police chasing the kids away. It had a tremendous negative impact on the children, and it was an aftermath.
It harms their dreams, their future learning … the risk of abuse, their mental health … If our policies do not take a more measured and sensible approach to our children, they will have to pay for the rest of their lives for the choices our generation makes. And for me that is the biggest underexposed story of the past year.
Many students report feeling out of control
In this regard, the New York Times published an article by Erica Green on Christmas Eve examining the effects of prolonged school closings on students.
“Teenagers arguably have to bear the brunt of school breaks, socially and emotionally,” she writes, noting that over the past two years high school teenagers in the United States have “reported some of the most alarming mental health deteriorations as they go into depression and express suicide attempts ”.
According to Green, a “large number” of high school students have “missed most or all of the 2020-2021 school year” and, as a result, missed classes that “are critical to their future.”
Dr. Harrison Bailey, principal of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, described the general mood among the students as “resignation and indignation,” with “blunt and blatant disrespect” being widespread.
Bailey had to intervene in an unusually large number of fistfights and brawls in the hallway as students resumed classes. The school’s wellness center was also “overrun” by students reporting anxiety and depression. Green writes:
As of December, 300 referrals had been submitted for the school’s student support program, where teams of counselors and administrators coordinate resources for students in difficulty. A total of 500 was expected for the entire 2019-20 school year.
At a recent meeting where administrators went through their cases of “worn out” students, they described them in blunt terms: “overgrown”, “a mess” and “work in progress”. I think the kids just feel like the world is out of control, said Dr. Bailey. You think to yourself, ‘The world is out of control, why should I be in control?
The other side of anger and despair: apathy
In addition to the violence, Bailey observes another trend that is more troubling in many ways: apathy. Many come to school in pajamas. Overall, virtual learning has proven to be a disaster. A total failure. What the experiment taught us is that school is not just a place where you learn a bunch of information. It’s a place where you learn socialization skills.
The most common complaint is fear: fear of being in the classroom, of standing in front of people, of talking to people, of being looked at by someone. ~ Nancy Ettwein
Many are years behind on this as COVID restrictions and masks have prevented human engagement and dialogue. ”People don’t know how to communicate anymore,” 18-year-old Jazlyn Korpics told Green. ”Everyone is a robot now – their mind is distorted.”
Nancy Ettwein, who ran the school’s wellness center until November 2021, told Green that the biggest complaint was fear: “Fear of the classroom, of people, of talking to people, of someone looking at them. In many cases when students turn to psychiatry it is said that they are just “sitting in the bathroom and crying”.
This abnormal response to normal social encounters is undoubtedly the result of long periods of isolation and lack of direct interactions with other people. Sixteen-year-old Kaisyn Carswell described life in the pandemic as a void, but the void is really hard ”. Another student reported that he spent all of 2020 playing video games all day.
Many teachers are at the end of their game
School teachers also have a hard time. Green reports:
Poll results released this month by the National Association of Secondary School Principals raise concerns that school principals could become yet another victim of the pandemic as their role becomes increasingly amorphous and untenable.
In the survey, in which a nationwide representative sample of school principals took part, only 35 percent of the respondents said that they are generally very satisfied with their work. In 2019 it was 63 percent.
At the top of the list of challenges during the pandemic was mental health care for students and counseling and mental health care for staff. Sixty-eight percent were concerned about teacher shortages and burnout.
Only 23 percent ‘fully’ agree that their administrative team is large enough to support staff and students, and only 21 percent ‘fully’ agree that there are adequate student care staff such as nurses and counselors.
Drug overdoses are rising among high school students
With desperation and lack of aim and orientation, so too does drug use. Recent statistics show a shocking surge in fentanyl overdose deaths among high school teenagers in the United States in 2020 and 2021.
The following graphic from a preprint article dated December 24, 2021, published on medRxiv and published by Dr. John B., a scientist, tweeted6 illustrates the situation better than words.
According to the authors:
Adolescent overdose mortality rose sharply between 2019 and 2020, from 2.35 per 100,000 to 4.58 per 100,000, an increase of 94.3%, the largest percentage increase of any 5-year age group.
Adolescents of the American Indian or Alaska Native (AIAN), Latinx adolescents and adolescents in the West census region were disproportionately affected; thttps://twitter.com/i/status/1475209878415323140he death rates from overdose in 2021 were 2.15, 1.31 and 1.68 times the national average.
The trends were driven by deaths from IMFs [illegally manufactured fentanyls], which nearly tripled from 2019 to 2020 and accounted for 76.6% of adolescent overdose deaths in 2021 …
Our results should also be seen in the context of rising rates of mental illness among adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. These results underscore the urgent need for accurate, harm reduction education of adolescents about the risks of evolving drug supplies, as well as better access to naloxone and drug screening services for IMFs.
COVID vaccination takes toll on boys
COVID vaccination also creates health problems in teenagers, which over time can lead to an even greater decline in mental health, especially boys. According to a report by Steve Kirsch, who has been tracking and researching the side effects of the COVID vaccination, a private school in California has seen a dramatic increase in cardiac inflammation in boys – a condition that can have lifelong consequences and severely affect the quality of life. He writes:
I’ve long been on record that the rate of myocarditis in teenage boys is about 1 in 317. This was a conservative estimate as a VAERS underreporting factor of 41 was used, which is only reserved for the most serious events … a more ‘realistic’ estimate is 1 in 150.
Today I learned from the parents of a child attending the Monte Vista Christian School that three children were diagnosed with myocarditis after vaccination. The school has 855 children … Let’s do a little math.
The ratio of male to female myocarditis diseases is around 10: 1, so it is very likely that they are boys. About half of the students are boys. There has never been a compulsory vaccination at school. So I would cautiously estimate that 2/3 of the children could have been vaccinated by then. So: 855/2 × 2/3 = 285 vaccinated boys.
So I estimate the rate of myocarditis at school is 3/285, which is 1 in 95 boys. Overall, this makes sense to me; it’s not far from my estimate of 1 in 150. Myocarditis in one in 95 boys (which is never ‘mild’) should prompt an immediate stop to vaccinations and an investigation into how the CDC missed such a large safety signal.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is also monitoring eight cases of myocarditis in 5 to 11 year olds who received the COVID vaccination from Pfizer. And what’s worse, it’s now clear that the vaccinations are not providing the protection they promised.
According to Cornell University, of the 903 cases of omicron infection reported in the week of December 7-13, 2021 that the Ithaca, New York campus was closed, almost all of them had occurred in fully vaccinated students .10 Some had received three vaccinations.
Do the young sacrifice to ‘protect’ the old?
As Robert F. Kennedy Jr. noted, society has never required that children take risks that could endanger their health in order to protect the elderly. That is immoral and irrational.
In his article in The Defender, Dr. Robert Malone produced the second medical declaration of the International Alliance of Physicians and Medical Scientists dated October 29, 2021, which was signed by more than 16,000 doctors and scientists and which states that “healthy children must not be forcibly vaccinated” because you clinical risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection is negligible and the long-term safety of vaccinations cannot be determined before such measures are taken.
Not only are children at high risk of serious adverse events, but the presence of healthy, unvaccinated children in the population is critical to achieving herd immunity. The declaration also calls for health authorities and institutions to stop interfering in the medical treatment of individual patients.
Three things parents need to know
Malone writes:
Before you vaccinate your child – a decision that is irreversible – I want to let you know the scientific facts of this genetic vaccine, which is based on the mRNA vaccine technology I developed.
There are three points that parents need to understand: The first is that a viral gene is injected into your children’s cells. This gene forces your child’s body to produce toxic spike proteins. These proteins often cause permanent damage to important organs in children, including:
- Your brain and nervous system.
- Your heart and blood vessels, including blood clots.
- Your reproductive system.
- This vaccine can cause profound changes in your immune system .
What is worrying about this is that, once this damage occurs, it is irreparable:
- You cannot repair the lesions in the brain.
- The scarring of the heart tissue cannot be repaired.
- You cannot repair a genetically compromised immune system.
- This vaccine can cause reproductive harm that could affect future generations of your family.
The second thing you need to know about is the fact that this new technology has not yet been adequately tested. We need at least 5 years of testing / research before we can really understand the risks. Damage and risks from new drugs are often only discovered many years later.
Ask yourself if you want your own child to take part in the most radical medical experiment in human history. One final point: the rationale you are given for vaccinating your child is a lie.
Your children pose no threat to their parents or grandparents. It is just the opposite. Your immunity after the COVID vaccination is critical to saving your family, if not the world, from this disease.
In conclusion, there is no benefit to your children or family in vaccinating your children against the low risks of the virus, given the known health risks of the vaccine that you, as parents and your children, may face for the rest of theirs Have to live life. The risk-benefit analysis is nowhere near comparable. As parents and grandparents, I recommend that you resist and fight for the protection of your children.
There is no doubt that we still have a lot of work to do. In all likelihood, it will take years to undo the damage the past two years have done to our children – both physically and mentally. But as a first step, we must decide to protect the children from lifelong health problems caused by these experimental vaccinations.
If we allow tens of thousands of children, perhaps millions, to be permanently harmed, resulting in lifelong disabilities and illness, the psychological consequences will be unimaginable.
