1. Develop A Nighttime Routine & Be Consistent With It

When you eat snacks late at night, this can cause you to develop insomnia. This happens because when you consume food, insulin is released in your body. Unfortunately, this can interrupt your circadian rhythm which can negatively impact your sleep quality and may even cause insomnia. Whenever you eat any type of food before going to bed, this will cause you to take longer to fall asleep. So, if you want to prevent this from happening, you should eat dinner early and avoid snacking during the night.
5. Meditate
If you suffer from sleeplessness, then you should try meditation according to Dimitriu. All you need to do is practice stilling your mind since your mind is likely overactive. When you meditate and become more mindful throughout your day, this will help you to meditate at night. This is a great way to help lower stress which disrupts sleep. Once you practice meditation for only a few minutes every day consistently, you will definitely get higher quality sleep.
