Whole Eggs

What was once feared as food that is high in cholesterol, whole eggs are finally making a comeback. The fears were based on misconceptions on how our body works to regulate cholesterol levels. While people should stay away from adding too much cholesterol into their diet, it has been shown that having a moderate egg consumption in your diet – around 4-7 eggs a week, is a safe estimate for many people.

Eggs are enriched with nutrients which makes you feel full even though you have had small portions of it, so your hunger is better controlled.

Salmon is another food rich in healthy nutrients. It is loaded with healthy fats, quality protein, and a variety of other nutrients that keep you satiated and help you achieve a healthier weight.

Additionally, salmon consists of omega-3 fatty acids which can help to reduce inflammation and inflammation plays a big role in metabolic diseases and obesity. Always choose wild salmon when you can.

 

Root Vegetables

Root vegetables have many properties that make them ideal foods for weight loss and achieving optimal health. They consist of some of the most incredibly diverse range of nutrients – just a little bit of everything.

They also contain a large sum of potassium which is great as it is responsible for managing blood pressure. It would be best to eat them boiled as they are more likely to make you feel full while giving you the ideal nutrients to feel your best healthy self. Vegetables are also rich in gut-healthy fiber.
