An Unfortunate Dilemma

I recently came across the video you see at the bottom of this post.  After watching Dr. Rhodes presentation, my mind began to internally review over and over the flood of thoughts she provoked to the point where a few ideas and realizations managed to stick in the fore front of all the rest and managed to hijack the rest of my thoughts until I finally gave in and wrote them down for you  in this article.

As a patented inventor, I share in the passion that many have for creating solutions to problems that we as people face on this planet. I cant think of anything I enjoy more than listening to others tell me about their particular problems they face either personally or as a business, they need to address and for what ever reason they cant seem to get from point A, the understanding of their problem, to point B the solution of that problem.  Although they have vast resources and knowledge of point A and point B, the space between these tow points is often a place that requires another set of eyes that may or may not come from a perspective that relates to their particular area of experience and unless they realize this they usually stay stuck at Point A and never get the point B, the solution that they wish to be able to give the world that would create value to their customers and possible impact humanity as a whole in a positive and profound way.

That’s where people like myself are called in to evaluate and make suggestions that in most cases if that solution cant be directly discovered, the ideas and outside the box thinking inventors like myself can provide, give them a much better chance or platform for them to hopefully use and reach their goal.

This is discussed by Dr. Rhodes, as the understanding that sometimes a Medical Dr needs a Physicists, chemist, electrical engineer, or combination of each, for that Medical Dr to reach their desired point B, in this case a device that greatly impacts humans in a positive way.

This process of creativity is what drives inventors, sometime to the point of madness, because we suffer from an almost OCD Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, that will draw our attention away from the rest of our lives, like a child that will sit in font of a TV screen playing a video game for days until they either beat the game or their parent physically have to surgically remove game controllers from their sweaty little hands.

Which brings me to the second part of my point I originally set out to present to you in this article.  If you’ve  have an opportunity to sit and observe a young child as they interact with others, I recommend you do, for you will observe something that is so amazing and profound, that I may change the way you look at yourself and possibly the world in general.

A child is very similar to that of an artists canvas.  All canvas are the same no matter the size, or shape.  They are all at first waiting for the stroke of an artist brush for them to come alive.  The image the artist creates on the canvas is only limited to the artist ability.  The canvass may one day possess on it an image that may inspire thousands upon thousands of thoughts, and ideas in others as we see the canvasses that decorate the walls of our most noted museums.  Da Vinchi, Michal Angelo, degas, Picasso, all artists that used a variety of medium to create inspiring images on canvass that hold enormous powers to inspire.  In these rare cases the blank canvas, equal to all the other blank canvass, undergoes a transformation, as the artist focuses their energy on them, resulting in the canvas storing that energy and passing it on until the canvas finally grows old and eventually, like all things decays away.

Just like this blank canvas, so to is the mind of a child.  It sits awaiting the input from, hopefully positive, teachers that focus their energy on, in hopes that someday that positive influence will be used to continue the process in others and result in individuals that will impact society in a positive manner.  Watch the eyes of the child as they interact.  They act and react with the outside world, in such a way that is unaffected by race, skin color, financial well being, or sex.  They are, as a whole, the embodiment of the gift of life each human starts their journey in this reality, in their possession.  Watch their eyes closely, and you can actually see them taking in the stimulus around them.  There is nothing like it, watching the pure unadulterated, unbiased mind at work absorbing every vibration, from the light that makes up the visual world, to the vibrations the two antenna attached to the sides of our heads capture and translate into audio stimuli.  Just like a orchestra, made up of many different instruments, that appear physically different, all share the ability to create vibrations we translate as sound.  As the conductor is needed by the orchestra to ensure the parts function individually and as a whole, so to does the brain of the child act to organize the stimulus that it finds itself immersed in 24/7.

The first time you see this you will never forget it.  As that child develops into an adult, most people think this maturing of the person, as a natural positive process that results in the person you are today.  This is only partly true, and if you examine it closely you will start to see its foundation is flawed and in need of repair.  I would argue the process the child experiences during its development is not positive by any means.  It is the uptake and retention of the negative that makes us what we are today.  there are only two true emotions, fear and love, and all other emotions exist within these two points.  Depending on the individuals ability to process the world around them will dictate at what point they exist on this scale and in what direction they will most likely move toward.  The perception of the  glass, half empty or half full, will depend on if that person, as a child was learned how to reason and logically perceive the environment around it.  Unfortunately, the viciousness cycle of fear based reactions has set our society spiraling out of control in a direction that unless drastically changed will result in the self destruction of humanity.

Now think of a world that was free from the restraints that we have been tricked into thinking necessary to abide by.  The fear that we have allowed to control us has grown like a cancer and is in desperate need of removal.
