Guinness World Records: A 93 Year Old Woman Named the World’s Oldest Yoga Teacher

A 93-year old woman, Tao Porchon-Lynch has been honoured with the title of being the oldest yoga teacher of the world by Guinness World Records. She is a vibrant yoga instructor and dance competitor even at the age of 93.

Having lived her full live including marriage, modelling, acting, performing burlesque and marching twice with Gandhi, she still continues to live and inspire her students to find their deepest range in asanas. Being declared as World’s oldest yoga teacher by Guinness World Records, she has proved that the age is just a number. With no plans to stop teaching yoga anytime soon, Porchon-Lynch said, “I’m going to teach yoga until I can’t breathe anymore then I’ll just fly away to the next planet … I just, I love yoga, it brightens my day and makes everybody smile.”
