EBOLA Virus is like AIDS/HIV – transmitted by personal contact ONLY – Are you Terrified by AIDS/HIV?  Reasons Why You SHOULDN’T Be Terrified by EBOLA!

In the 1980s there was quite some attempt to panic people into thinking that AIDS (later called HIV) would become a global pandemic.  But it didn’t. Why?

Because it is spread person-to-person, by bodily fluids, shared drug needles, or blood transfusions from an infected person. Now after all these decades, it is STILL transmitted in the same way.  It didn’t ‘transmute’ and  become an airborn pathogen.

A few years earlier in 1976, the first EBOLA case occured near the Ebola River, Zaire, when a rural African villager or hunter made contact with an infected monkey or monkey meat for consumption.  Those with whom he came into close contact from bodily secretions contracted the virus and the first local outbreak insued, which, once quarantine was administered, ceased.

In these four decades, other outbreaks of the same type and for the same initial reasons (contact with infected primates in jungle villages) have been reported.  There have been about 18-20 such outbreaks, some SPACED OUT by as much as FIFTEEN YEARS in the same limited areas of neighboring central and west Africa (Zaire (Rep. of Congo), Sudan, Uganda, Gabon…).

Like AIDS/HIV, EBOLA is still passed from person-to-person, and like AIDS/HIV, and according to the official and professional instutions, THERE ARE NO OFFICIAL REPORTS of EBOLA going airborn!  It never has and like AIDS/HIV it probably never will.  Why should it?

The Real RASH or OUTBREAK has been in the SCIENCE FICTION articles which state as fact that AIRBORN EBOLA exists when it doesn’t – AFTER FORTY YEARS of time-to-time limited outbreaks in monkey-eating rural areas – IT HAS NOT BECOME A REGIONAL or GLOBAL PANDEMIC and IT HAS NOT MAGICALLY TRANSMUTED into an AIRBORN PATHOGEN which would of course infect many more people.

Now SPANISH INFLUENZA of 100 years ago – that was an airborn nightmare scenario which eventually caused the deaths of MILLIONS until the circumstances were understood and it was gotten under control.

Did it wipe out 90% of the worldwide population and end life as they knew it?  Of course not.

AIDS/HIV and EBOLA are NOT SPANISH INFLUENZA NOR are they AIRBORN PATHOGENS capable of spreading massively as exhaustive articles and videos falsely tout.

Notice: it is spread from DIRECT contact with blood and secretions from infected persons, contaminated objects, and infected animals. THESE ARE THE FACTS which can be found easily if you will wade through the myriads of scare-tactic rags to find what the professionals state from official records.

Should we be concerned about Ebola?  Of course, just as concerned as we are about AIDS/HIV and all other communicable diseases. And let’s pray for the poor people in the currently infected areas that they may be part of the 37% of victims that ultimately recover from Ebola (of the ~3823 reported cases in the past 38 years ~2424 have died, or about 63% [WHO stats]).
