New York Bio-Terror: Carpet Bombed City Urges Immediate Legionnaires' Treatment

The first day of the historic New York City’s Legionnaires’ deadly outbreak began in the Bronx, the government had sprayed residents there with pesticides containing bacteria, reportedly to combat West Nile Virus (WNV), a process the UN says lowers the human immunity system. Not one NYC human had been infected with WNV. Immunosuppressed people are more susceptible to Legionnaires.’ Could the West Nile spray have lowered immunity systems enough to cause today’s unprecedented deadly Legionnaires’ outbreak?

The source of the South Bronx cluster outbreak remains a mystery, according to corporate media, yet research shows that even pesticides with “less toxic effects” (such as Pyrethroids) are devastating to human immunity system. Now, one in ten people who contracted Legionnaires’ are dying in an area carpet-bombed with toxic pesticides. Friday, New York expanded its Legionnaires’ battle to include the entire state.

“While it is clearly a significant outbreak in the Bronx, this is a state-wide issue and the governor is monitoring Legionnaire’s statewide,” said Commissioner of Health for New York State, Dr. Howard Zucker, said during a press conference Friday afternoon.

“Under the excuse that they wanted to kill off any new West Nile, the Bronx decided to spray its people for 3 days. On July 10th, the first day after the spraying had ended, the legionnaires outbreak began,” reported Daboo007 at www.undergroundworldnews.com.

WNV-infected mosquitoes had reportedly been collected from Douglaston and College Point neighborhoods in Queens and Old Town from Staten Island. Health Department officials had vowed to continue efforts to kill mosquito larvae before they could bite by spraying larvicide in the city’s catch basins, marshland, and areas with standing water. They sprayed VectoBac™ CG, VectoMax™ CG/FG and/or VectoLex™ CG/FG – all containing “naturally occurring bacteria,” according to SFGate News.

“In addition, the Health Department will apply larvicide by helicopter to marsh and other non-residential areas of Staten Island, the Bronx and Queens on Thursday, July 17, Friday, July 18 and Monday, July 21, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. weather permitting. In case of bad weather, application will be delayed until Friday, July 18, Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22 during the same hours. While three days are allotted for this activity, the application may be completed in less time.

“The areas to be treated… Due to their size and inaccessibility by ground vehicles, these areas will be treated with larvicide from a low-flying helicopter…These products are approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.” (SFGate)

Health Commissioner Dr. Mary Bassett said, “Now that West Nile virus has returned to New York City, it is important to take simple precautions to protect you and your family,” said  She would later say the worst of the Legionnaires” outbreak was over, unlike other doctors analysis.

Misdiagnosis, Mistreatment

There was no public warning that warm water, such as hot showers, hot tubs, and that even faucets can carry the disease. There was no warning that there was a public health risk related to the WNV spraying

The UN states: “Exposure to pesticides is now recognized to be detrimental to human as well as animal health and all immune systems. Spraying pesticides (aerially or on the ground) poses much more danger to public health, especially to children, than the extremely small health presented by West Nile Virus.”

WNV can cause serious complications, including neurological diseases, and a milder flu-like illness with headache, fever and fatigue, weakness (same as Legionnaires’ causes) and sometimes rash, according to Bassett when recently pushing her pesticide spray campaign. But why push a poisonous spray when even the Center for Disease Control states the low probability of contracting WNV?  The CDC Q and A on its website shows:

“Q. If I live in an area where birds or mosquitoes with West Nile virus have been reported and a mosquito bites me, am I likely to get sick?

A. No. Even in areas where mosquitoes do carry the virus, very few mosquitoes”much less than 1%”are infected. If the mosquito is infected, less than 1% of people who get bitten and become infected will get severely ill. The chances you will become severely ill from any one mosquito bite are extremely small. The risk to contract West Nile Virus encephalitis is extremely small 1 in 300,000 people and affects only those with impaired immunity.

“Based upon experience, we know that typically less than one tenth of one percent of people bitten by infected mosquitoes develop any clinical signs of disease, and of those who do develop disease symptoms, most do not develop the serious encephalitis manifestations..” Michael Gochfeld, Professor of Environmental and Community Medicine, the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

If such a small risk of humans getting infected from mosquitos, why did the NY Health Commissioner place residents at such great risk of suffering horrible effects of pesticide exposure, lowering their immunity systems, making them more susceptible to Legionnaires’?

WNV Murky Bio-Terror History

Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, called for an investigation in 2002 into West Nile Virus outbreaks initiated by bioterrorists. Suspects included Iraqi terrorists who apparently received their initial stocks of the West Nile Virus from the United States, according to public health officials, as recorded in the Congressional Record.

Among experts providing Congressional testimony in support of Sen. Leahy’s thesis was Harvard graduate and independent investigator Dr. Leonard Horowitz, whose thirteenth book, Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare, predated the 9-11 attacks by three months. The book focuses on West Nile Virus as part of a biological weapons arsenal shipped to Iraq during the 1980s.

Dr. Horowitz testified before the Government Reform Committee on Capitol Hill on April 18, 2002 regarding evidence he compiled showing vaccine makers for West Nile Virus and anthrax were suspects in the outbreaks and mailings. Supportive evidence included records from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, submitted to Congress, showing a pharmaceutical industry and bioweapons supplier, American Type Culture Collection, in Maryland shipped Iraqi laboratories more than nineteen shipments of anthrax and two containers of West Nile Virus in the 1980s. Dr. Horowitz believes that WNV outbreaks and anthrax mailings, including those to Senators Leahy and Majority Leader Tom Dashle, were part of a “fear-rousing bioterrorist agenda” solely benefiting a consortium of mostly foreign-owned vaccine, drug, and and chemical companies historically linked to such activities.

Among the committee investigations Leahy criticized was that issued by the Republican minority staff of the Senate Government Affairs Committee in July 2000. It said “law enforcement, public health, and intelligence officials have investigated the possibility that West Nile virus resulted from a bioterrorist attack but believe that this is very unlikely.”

“Very unlikely? Hogwash!” Dr. Horowitz returned. “This possibility best explains the mountain of advancing evidence in both the anthrax mailings and sudden emergence of the West Nile Virus.” The award winning public health authority believes Senator Leahy,s concerns are extremely valid and politically urgent. “I applaud the senator for working to protect the public,s health, not lull legislators and people to sleep with baseless assertions that deflect critical analysis away from where it should be – on the military – pharmaceutical complex that supplied Saddam Hussein with his bioweapons.” (More here)
