by Dr. Paul Haider

Many foods are vital to our life since they contain lots of Qi energy. On the other hand, there are foods that also deplete our energy. Here is a list of foods that help bring Qi energy into our body, which will assist us in creating and maintaining youthful vigor with energy over a lifetime.

Greens

Greens are vital to the flow of Qi energy in the body. For example, eating a nice green salad and then waiting  five minutes will help us feel invigorated with energy to burn. When we eat heavy, cooked foods, we feel heavy and lack vitality, which means we lack Qi energy.

Other Veggies

Other raw veggies and slightly steamed veggies also contain Qi energy. For instance, red bell peppers, yellow squash, butternut squash, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and other veggies all have essential vital energy.

Fresh Fruit

Fresh fruits are packed full of lots of Qi energy. Even fruit juices are wonderful for attaining Qi energy. In fact, fresh fruit juices are much better than soda and sugary drinks, which have no Qi energy at all. Try food, such as apples, peaches, lychee, berries, fresh dates, fresh figs, mangoes, papaya, and many more fresh fruits, that build Qi.

Raw Nuts

Raw nuts have all their vital energy stored within them. They are the seed that could be planted in the ground and thus has the energy of the tree waiting to burst forth. Foods, such as raw almonds, coconut, walnuts and all other nuts, are terrific Qi energy cultivators.

Seeds

Raw sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, lotus seeds, pumpkin seeds, and many other types of seeds are full of Qi energy and help to bring about the bounty of great Qi energy to the body.

Beans

Beans are not usually consumed raw, but some can be sprouted. Then, those sprouts can be eaten raw. Also, beans are one of the few cooked foods that also provide Qi energy. Consuming beans daily are very good for improving Qi energy. Beans are best if they are organic and cooked daily, or at least cooked once a week and eaten during the week. Beans are also a balancing agent for Qi in the body and assist in keeping everything in harmony.
