Differences Between CBD and Delta 8 THC

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Did you know that there are different versions of THC? So, What is THC?

THC, also called delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, is a chemical compound that comes from the hemp plant. It produces the feeling of being high that cannabis users report. Like all compounds, cannabis can have different versions of THC. Delta-8 THC produces a weaker effect than delta-9 THC. Effects of delta-8 THC include mind alterations and psychedelic effects, as well as an improved sense of humor.

There are some amazing properties that come with hemp oil.

Did you know that CBD from hemp can be converted into Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol?

What is CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is the second most popular cannabinoid molecule from the cannabis and hemp plant, next to THC. CBD derived from industrial hemp is non-psychoactive and is only beginning to touch the surface of its potential medical benefits. Our lab puts exceptional care into their extraction process in order to add more than just CBD to our products without creating a product that contains unwanted vegetation ingredients such as chlorophyll, which is common when using ethanol extracted CBD oils.  We pride ourselves on our attention to detail in order to give you a pure and positive experience.

If the potential medical benefits of CBD  interest you, then you should reconsider your option of purchasing pure CBD  from a company with only an internet presence. Buy from a company that puts exceptional care into their production process to ensure they are infusing their products with CBD as well as hundreds of other naturally occurring molecules specific to ATLRx Premier High-CBD hemp strain.

What is Delta 8 THC?

Delta 8 is a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis & hemp, which could possibly have therapeutic potential without the buzz. Researchers are particularly interested in CBD’s role in epilepsy treatment, but it has also shown promise for treating anxiety, insomnia, depression, inflammation, skin conditions, and more.

Delta-8 THC is basically the same chemical compound, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), but it’s produced through a different process. Delta-8 THC is not psychoactive by itself; it requires heating or aging in order to become active. So, it doesn’t get you high. It smells the same and looks the same, but it’s about 30 percent less potent than delta-9 THC.

Delta-8 (8-delta) is an emerging cannabis compound that is markedly less prone to generate euphoria or offer relief from pain than delta 9. But, in nature, there is no such thing as a Delta 8 flower.

The Difference Between CBD and Delta 8 THC

Delta-8 THC and CBD both come from the “cannabinoid” family. However, the differences between Delta-8 THC and CBD are vast; we wanted to take a different approach by highlighting the benefits and uses of each.

CBD

  • Non-psychedelic
  • Binds to your Cannabinoid Receptors
  • Comes in Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid Strains
  • Does not interfere with drug tests

Delta-8 THC

  • Is psychoactive
  • Binds to your Cannabinoid Receptors
  • Comes in Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid strains
  • Delta-8 THC can increase your appetite
  • Low probability of passing a drug test

Delta-8 THC is a great alternative to THC or tetrahydrocannabinol. Unlike the psychoactive effects of regular THC, it does not have owners under the influence. Although Delta-8 THC produces a full-body high that lasts for an extended period of time without head changes or feeling “high” whatsoever.

Is There A Delta-8 THC CBD?

Delta-8 THC CBD is made of up 30% Delta-8 THC and 25% CBD, with .3% other cannabinoids. Delta-8 THC CBD is a great product for those looking to benefit from the effects of CBD, as well as those with a need for a more calming effect with a subtle psychoactive effect.

Delta-8 THC CBD is a combination of Delta-8 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD). Unlike some combination cannabinoids, this is not one of the most common combinations. There are some advantages to having both cannabinoids, while some examples of where they could be better if used separately.

Cannabis sativa comes in two varieties, CBD dominant, and THC dominant. The high associated with products high in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is due to the fact that THC has certain psychoactive properties whereas CBD does not.
