When does precautionary testing become FRAUD?

Is this “borderline fraud” (shady business practices) or indeed outright MediCare FRAUD??? THOUGHTS?!?!?!
What? I got the COLO-GUARD test via USPS mail the other day. UNSOLICITED. NOT as Ordered/requested by my Doctor! How do I know my Doctor didn’t Order it and just failed to bring up during last visit discussion I SHOULD DO ONE? Simple, last visit I did the SHIELD (I think that is what it is called) new BLOOD TEST for Colon Cancer detection. THEY decide ON THEIR OWN to send it to me (yes, had done one in the past therefore my name address age whatnot in their files)…
IS THEIR deciding on their own to SEND THEIR TEST UNSOLICITED an attempt and within what you would define as MEDICARE (or other Health Care services) FRAUD???? They are just FISHING for excuse to bill my Insurance (which, joke would be on them, it changed, from what they may have on file) payments to process tests NOT DEEMED MEDICALLY NECESSARY BY A PHYSICIAN?!?!?!?
Yes I’m old. Turned 64 this year. So YES “concern” about keeping an eye out for it “sensible” but when does “actual concern” crossover into Corporate FRAUD just to line their bottom-line?!?!?!
AND THEN there is the whole other problem of testing as CYA to try CYA about “Malpractice” suits!!!! Whole other issue driving up costs and issue. But feel free to chime in on this too, or instead, if you want in the comments.
