Multiculturalism is for the Birds

Birds of a feather flock together.  Muslims of a feather flock together.  Blacks of a feather flock together.  Hispanics of a feather flock together.  Asians of a feather flock together.  Multiculturalism in American has been a blundering failure.  Why?—because the various races and ethnicities would rather live in their cliquish hovels.  That’s why.  They do not want to befriend long-time Americans.  They do not want to associate with Americans from their new country, and that is very sad.

Each of these groups would rather maintain their identity of the country from whence they originated instead of melding and assimilating into the general American culture.  They would rather maintain the language of their mother tongue instead of learning American English.  They would rather maintain their dress, foods, and beliefs instead of becoming true Americans.  Instead, they desire to change America into multiple groups of races and ethnicities rather than to become true Americans.

These races and ethnicities would rather not pledge to the American flag.  They bring their old country’s flag to America and fly them even above the American flag or not fly the American flag at all.  They destroy, trash, burn, and disrespect the American flag.  They do not desire to pledge to the flag.  They don’t learn about our early American history.  They truly do not desire to become Americans—but only to reap the benefits of America.  What’s wrong with that picture anyway?

They do not desire any borders.  They do not want to speak the language of Americans.  They do not want to adopt the American culture.  These are the reasons why multiculturalism in America has failed miserably.  The big problem is we have the progressives in our country who have enabled all of this destruction to the American borders, language, and culture—principles that are required for us to maintain a cohesive American multiculturalism.

The progressives have used multiculturalism to separate and split the various races and ethnicities into separate power groups.  Progressives have enabled these groups to continue breaking the law and taking advantage of all of the benefits of citizenship—yet not holding them as responsible citizens of a cohesive society.  Progressives constantly employ racial and class warfare to keep these races and ethnicities under control while supporting entitlement legislation and un-American activities.

We should not maintain Black-Americans, Muslim-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, and every other kind of hyphenated Americans.  We should only have Americans bound together with common borders, language (American English), and culture.  If we do not do that, there will be constant strife.  America should be the “melting-pot of the world.”  We should be an alloy of various metals, not various immiscible metals separated by racial and ethnic boundaries.  If we do not require a melting pot, American will eventually be destroyed as a cohesive nation of Americans.

Multiculturalism could be a good thing for America if everyone assimilated into a true melting pot.  However, the way things are going, multiculturalism will eventually blow up in our faces simply because multiple cultures refuse to be united as one nation under God, indivisible, and with liberty and justice for all.  To this end, I make a plea to all peoples of America to be ONE in purpose and cooperation.
