14 year old American tries to cross an arsenal through Nogales

Ramsés Adrián ‘N’, entered Mexican territory aboard a Ford Explorer, in which they detected three assault rifles, for the exclusive use of the Army , two short weapons and 7,441 useful cartridges.

A 14-year-old U.S. citizen who tried to drive an SUV loaded with guns and ammunition into Mexico was arrested just south of the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry on Wednesday night after trying to flee a Mexican customs inspection.

According to Mexican media reports, the youth, who was the driver and sole occupant of a black Ford Explorer, drove south through the port into Mexico, where he drew the red light that requires a stop at the Mexican customs station.

However, when the suspect tried to flee, he reportedly crashed into a vehicle belonging to the SAT tax agency and was subsequently arrested.

The search of the vehicle uncovered  a .50-caliber Barrett semi-automatic sniper rifle , with two short stock loaders, two AK-47 rifles , two 9-millimeter Glock pistols , several magazines and several cardboard boxes with more than 7,400 projectiles of various calibers, 3,000 of them for AK 47′s or “goat horns”.

A Nogales Police Department dispatch report shows that NPD officers were called to the Port of Entry at 10:35 p.m. on Wednesday to help U.S. Customs and Border Protection close the southbound lanes in response to the incident.

A 14-year-old American-born teenager was arrested in Sonora for causing an accident and trying to pass through the customs of the Nogales checkpoint with nothing but an arsenal of long weapons, a pair of guns and boxes full of bullets.

In the protocol for the prevention of border violence, the Federal Police inspector and the National Guard clerk received a call from C5i, informing them that a person tried to flee when they entered Mexico and caused an accident between two vehicles.

The officers inspected the car and noticed two gun cases, in addition to another in the back seat for long weapons and five boxes with bullets of different calibers, next to a bag with several loaders.

When the child was questioned, he identified himself with the name of Ramses and Customs officials proceeded to check the interior of the car where they detected two 9-millimeter short weapons and a 50-caliber Barrett-branded rifle, in addition to three 7.62×39-caliber assault rifles.

The inspector informed the teenager of his detention for the crime of violation of firearms and explosives, in addition to the damage caused to the vehicle, which was available to the FGR along with the arsenal.

* The Consulate of the United States of America was informed about the detention of Ramsés Adrián ‘N’ , to continue with the legal procedures in the Federal Public Ministry. The detainee was referred to the Court specialized in Justice for Adolescents in Nogales.
