Mexico.- Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a bodyguard for the mayor of Cuautitlán was taking shelter in his house, but ended up dead when handling a pen-type pistol, on the perimeter of Venustiano Carranza.

This Saturday morning, Marco Antonio Reyes Olvera manipulated the disguised weapon in one of the houses on La Paz Street, in the Peñón de los Baños neighborhood.

His wife said they would both go to a flea market near Balbuena, where they temporarily trade.

“(The woman) entered the room and her husband told her that he had accidentally injured himself with his pen-type firearm, at that moment he leans on her and then falls to the floor,” the reports indicate.

The warhead was embedded in his abdomen and although they called for help from paramedics, the 44-year-old man died. The 22-millimeter pen was left in the room.
