Sol Prendido” and ”El Zacatecas”  for Borderland Beat

A new video from the Mexican underworld has just surfaced online. For this broadcast an armed criminal cell for the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) is interrogating four captured CDS operatives. The Cartel de Sinaloa captives are lookouts in the city of Monte Escobedo and it’s surroundings.

The following film consists of the men in custody giving out intimate details about the criminal structure within this region of Zacatecas. Code names, locations, as well as commanders are given up.

Back at the beginning of March an article was published, http://www.borderlandbeat.com/2021/03/monte-escobedo-zacatecas-cartel-del.html, where Comandante Fantasma was initially mentioned. At the time the Ghost Commander was suspected as being a part of the Cartel del Golfo (CDG), nothing has been officially confirmed though.

Nonetheless, it has been firmly established that the Gulf Cartel holds an alliance with the Cartel Jalisco in the state of Zacatecas. This video was shortened in length to accommodate the Blogger format. However, the full interrogation is in its complete form. This broadcast has been deemed safe for all to see.

Video translation is as follows:

Sicario: Where exactly, and what’s the name of your Entry Control Points in the community of Boquilla (Boquilla del Refugio, Zacatecas)?

Captive #1: Well sir, the truth is that I don’t know where exactly…

Captive #2: It’s called 024.

Sicario: What was that you said?

Captive#2: Its called 024.

Sicario: Ok, very well then. What else can you tell me?

Captive #2: They also call it Gama 35. And at the entrance of the town of Lobatos (Lobatos, Zacatecas) it’s known as 32.

Sicario: Ok, then. Now where exactly is the Entry Control Point in Boquilla?

Captive#2: For the municipality of Boquilla?

Sicario: Yes.

Captive 2: You go towards the ranch. And as soon as you pass the curves on the road, there’s a 3 ton burned out truck, on the left hand side about 50 meters you’ll see a blue door.

Sicario #2: This is in the community of Boquilla?

Sicario #1: So, are they there just past the picnic table?

Captive #2: No, not exactly.  As soon as you go in there’s a white Dodge Ram pickup about 50 or 70 meters inward.

Sicario: Ok, then. Now how about you?

Captive#3: Me?

Sicario: What were you telling me earlier about the road that runs towards Monte Escobedo?

Captive #3: Oh, that’s where the Grupo Flechas are located.

Sicario: And who are these guys known as Flechas?

Captive #3: Well, I just know them as the Flechas crew.

Sicario : But where exactly are they located?

Captive#3: They’re located all along that road.

Sicario: All of that roadway belongs to them?

Captive #3: Yes.

Sicario: Where exactly do they live?

Captive#3: Well, at the entrances of all those ranches you’ll find them there.

Sicario: Ah, ok.

Captive #3: I’ve only been there once before with someone who took me…

Sicario: Where exactly is the Entry Control Point known as G28?

Captive #3: G28 is located in Romerillo (Romerillo del Sur, Zacatecas).

Sicario: Now what about G20, where did we agree it’s located?

Captive #3: That’s El Resbalón.

Sicario: Where is G10 located?

Captive #3: G10 is…

Sicario#2: That’s in Atotonilco (Atotonilco, Zacatecas).

Captive #3: It’s the town of Atotonilco, just past it.

Sicario #2: I actually know where that’s at.

Sicario: Now, what about G17 or Alpha 17, what’s it called?

Captive #3: I actually don’t know.

What about the Entry Control Point known as 60? Do you know about this area?

Captive #3: No, not really.

Sicario: Where’s that other Entry Control Point that’s heading towards Atotonilco?

Captive #3: Are you talking about 01?

Sicario: Yes. That’s the one.

Captive #3: It’s where the road forks.

Sicario: Where the road forks?

Captive #3: Yes.

Sicario: What about the individuals who are in La Mesita? They’re just north of Atotoniclo, what function do they serve?

Captive #3: Those individuals are commanders.

Sicario: If I’m not mistaken they’re located just past Atotonilco in Las Amecas. On the left side there’s a jagged hill there with a saddle contour to it. Is this correct?

Captive #3: Yes, this is true.

Sicario: Are they located there?

Captive #3: Yes. There’s 3 men there.

Sicario: Are they situated in the cabins or in the forest there?

Captive #3: They’re in the forest.

Sicario: Is there a corral for cows there?

Captive #3: Yes. Just past that.

Sicario: Ok…
