Video of a Woman Being Kidnapped in Apatzingán, Michoacán

Today, video footage emerged a kidnapping of a restaurant owner that took place in broad daylight in Apatzingán city, Michoacán.

Noventa Grados reports this kidnapping occurred around noon on Sunday, June 27 2021. The timestamp on the surveillance footage shows a time of 10:07 AM (however surveillance cameras are notorious for having time stamps that are off from the actual time).

One is a man wearing a black hoodie, black baseball cap, blue jeans, white sneakers. Another man is wearing a black baseball cap, a white face mask, a black Adidas sweatshirt and black sneakers. A third is wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and gray sneakers. La Voz newspaper reports that the men were armed. One of the men can be seen to be holding possibly a pistol. The men are seen to obviously be taking the woman by force. Her female colleagues from the restaurant follow the men outside. 

The woman is attempting to drag her feet however the men are able to push her forward and they open the backseat of the car. A woman wearing white and another woman wearing orange try to get closer to the woman being taken, however the man with the black Adidas hoodie walks towards them, arms outstretched, putting himself in between the woman’s colleagues and the woman. 

The woman in white is dragged back away from the car by one of the co-workers, all of whom seem to be distressed. The woman in orange makes a forward move and two men stop as they are about to get into their car. They pause and seem to exchange words with the woman in orange and point towards her. After one of the men tries multiple times to find an open spot in the car, the car begins moving and from off screen a trash can is thrown at the vehicle in a futile attempt to stop it from leaving.

Noventa Grados reports that the woman is the owner of the establishment. Witnesses to the event report the men drove away at full speed in the direction of Uruapan.
