BSP Leaders Seeking Removal Of Illegal Word On School

Kottapeta (BIN – IC): BSP leaders on Monday submitted a petition to Deputy Tahsildar Nagavaralakshmi seeking action to remove the illegal word Harijana on students’ primary school. BSP leaders issued a statement to that effect. The primary school in the village of Vanapalli in the Kottapeta Mandal of East Godavari district was named as Harijana Peta instead of Ramohan Peta. It is illegal to use the word Harijana. The authorities ignored it although that word was on the school for about ten years. The reason for their ignorance for 10 years was their lack of awareness about the Constitution of India and the law. This consequence in the system is unfortunate. The representatives of the Scheduled Castes and the representatives of the respective communities should educate the future generations about the Constitution, the laws and the facts. That word being on the school is in danger of being reused. The Bahujan Samaj Party demanded in the statement that the authorities respond immediately and remove such inhumane words. As part of that, a petition was submitted to the Deputy Tahsildar at the Kottapeta Tahsildar’s office.
BSP leaders Kottapet constituency in charge Saaka Rajarao, constituency president Kandru Venkatesh, Pradeep and others were among them who handed over the petition.
