Bommanahal (BIN-IC): Police personnel conducted local vehicle checks in Bommanahal on Sunday. During the inspection, which was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm, the police examined motorcyclists’ licenses and other related documents. Motorcyclists were advised to immediately pay the pending chalans for violating traffic rules, if not paying so far.

Speaking on the occasion, Head Constable Nagendra Kumar said that the checks of these vehicles were carried out as part of routine inspections. Motorcyclists are required to wear a helmet and carry a driver’s license and other documents related to the vehicle, he hinted. Awareness was given to motorcycists not to drive under the influence of alcohol, not to do triple riding, not to talk on mobile phones while driving and not to give vehicles to minors. Later, Head Constable Nagendra Kumar and Constable Eshwar inspected several vehicles.

As part of routine inspection, police personnel conduct vehicle checks across the state and are paying special attention to those who drive without a license, especially minors. They examine documents related to two-wheelers thoroughly and are imposing fine on them that do not have proper records under the Motor Vehicle Act. It is a known fact that the police are making motorcyclists better aware so that these violations are not repeated in the future.
