Bommanahal (BIN – IC): Principal of Pratibha English Medium School Mr. Venkateswara Rao famously stated that the influence of a good teacher on the students can never be erased. He participated in the National Teacher’s Day celebrations organized in Pratibha English Medium School on Monday. He offered floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Venkateswara Rao said that a good teacher is the person who has the greatest impact on the students socially, physically, mentally and spiritually at every stage. He said that the school is the eternal temple of knowledge where the students are always learning and the teachers are the great ones who impart that knowledge. He said that September 5 is the day to honor the teachers in the country.

English teacher Mr. Mallikarjuna spoke on the role of teachers towards students and society. He said that education with values ​​paves the way for building and developing a strong society. He said that it is the teachers who teach personality formation, values, ethical and selfless ways of living. Teachers are the ones who play a vital role in building a better society and provide solutions to social problems. Physics teacher Mrs. Sultana said that teaching is a sacred profession. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who not only stood as a role model for the society in the teaching profession but also served as a national leader. She said that it is very necessary to remember Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on this occasion. She also said that we cannot celebrate Teacher’s Day without remembering the name of Savitri Bai Phule who established the first school for women in 1948. In 2019, Kenyan Peter Tabichi received the award The World’s Best Teacher and a million dollars as a cash prize for he spent 80 percent of his earnings for the development of students and making them the best people. She called upon the students to take him as inspiration. Mainly, teachers are the beacons that prepare today’s generation for tomorrow.

Later, the class 10 student Srikeertana explained the greatness of teachers and thanked all the teachers who were students’ inspiration. The skits performed by the students of class 9 and 10 were attractive and entertained everyone. Vice Principal Mrs. Vijayalakshmi congratulated the students who entertained all by performing skits in this program. Communicative English trainer Mr. Venkatesh acted as the anchor for this program. Teachers Mrs. Jyoti, Mrs. Kavya, Mrs. Muktarunnisa, Mrs. Bhanu, Mrs. Kavitha, Mrs. Swathi, PET master Mr. Ghouspeera, Mr. Lingappa, Mr. Thimmaraju, non-teaching staff Mr. Manju and parents of students participated in this program.
