National Nutrition Week celebrations Held At Devagiri ZP High School

Devagiri (BIN – IC): Banduru Primary Health Staff organized National Nutrition Week at Devagiri ZP High School on Monday. As part of this program students were made aware about the importance of nutrition. Later, quiz, elocution and essay writing competitions were conducted for the students on nutrition. Jaswant in quiz, Chandu in curation and Spandan in essay writing won prizes.

National Nutrition Week is organized by The Food and Nutrition Board of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development from 1st to 7th September every year to create public awareness about the importance of nutrition. In this week, people are mainly made aware of malnutrition, bad lifestyle, obesity, healthy lifestyle, good eating habits, nutritional values ​​etc. Every year National Nutrition Week is organized with a special theme. This year’s theme is ‘Celebrate a World of Flavors’. Any theme is chosen to promote a healthy lifestyle among people. Nutrition is key to health. In today’s stressful world focusing on proper diet is very important. The result is a long and happy life.
