• Hebron Fellowship’s VBS wraps up with message of spiritual transformation and commemorates saints’ lives

Bommanahal (BIN – IC): Hebron Fellowship recently concluded a three-day Vacation Bible School program in a grand celebration of faith, scripture, and inspiration. Senior Pastor Samuel, delivering a powerful message to over 150 attendees from Rayadurgam, Devagiri, Uddehal, Untakallu, and Haresamudram, emphasized the importance of godliness as a means of achieving life transformation.

In his enlightening keynote address, Senior Pastor Samuel underscored the primary objective of the Vacation Bible School (VBS) – to impart the significance of scriptural piety in one’s spiritual journey. He encouraged the children and attendees to open their hearts to God’s teachings, highlighting the path of righteousness and the fear of God. The VBS aimed to instill a profound understanding of how God’s word can transform individuals into benefactors to their communities, families, and themselves.

Pastor Samuel reminded the audience of the inspirational lives of devoted saints throughout history, and individuals who wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to fulfilling God’s divine will. By surrendering their thoughts, sight, hearing, speech, and actions to God, saints like Samuel and Peter set exceptional examples by becoming first prophet and first apostle. He recounted the remarkable healing of Naaman, the Syrian commander, from incurable leprosy, brought about by his obedience to a servant girl’s divine message. He also shared the story of Rhode, a young girl who conveyed the fervent prayers of the congregation praying for Peter, highlighting the power of faith and the divine truth.

Pastor Vijay Kumar emphasized that Jesus, through His selfless sacrifice, became the embodiment of truth, life, and the way, ultimately becoming the world’s only savior. The legacy of truth continued with individuals like David Livingston and Bhaktasingh, who followed in the footsteps of these saints and became prominent preachers of divine truth, serving as role models for the present generation.

Throughout the event, attendees were exposed to messages of devotion, sacrifice, and inspiration, as the lives of historical devotees were explored in depth. Elder, Samson, recalled David Livingston’s unwavering commitment to God’s work, even in the face of extreme adversity, as an unparalleled example for aspiring Christian missionaries. He echoed this sentiment, affirming that Livingston’s life remains a beacon of hope for those seeking to follow a similar path.

With over 150 enthusiastic children, youth, pastresses, and local believers participating in the three-day program, the Hebron Fellowship highlighted the importance of spiritual well-being and the fostering of divine community. The Vacation Bible School program showcased the enduring importance of godliness and discipline and revealed that contemporary devotees can find limitless inspiration in the lives of their spiritual predecessors.

తన ప్రధాన సందేశంలో, సీనియర్ పాస్టర్ సమూయేలు వీబీఎస్ ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశాన్ని వివరించారు. జీవిత పరివర్తనకు లేఖనాను సారమైన దైవభక్తి అత్యవసరమనే  సత్యాన్ని ప్రముఖంగా పేర్కొన్నారు. పిల్లలారా, రండి, దేవుని మాట వినండి. దేవునియందు భయభక్తులు అంటే ఏమిటో నేర్పుతాము. ఇహలోక జీవితకాలమంతా మీరు నడువవలసిన త్రోవను చూపిస్తాము. దైవ ప్రయోజకులుగా, సంఘ ప్రయోజకులుగా, కుటుంబ ప్రయోజకులుగా, వ్యక్తిగత ప్రయోజకులుగా దేవుని వాక్యం ఎలా మిమ్మల్ని మారుస్తుందో నేర్పిస్తామని అయన వివరించారు.

దైవ సంకల్పం నెరవేర్చేందుకు తమను తాము అంకితం చేసుకున్న చరిత్రలోని  భక్తుల జీవితాలు విశ్వాసులకు ఆదర్శంగా నిలుస్తాయని సమూయేలు వివరించారు. ఆలోచనను, చూపును, వినికిడిని, మాటను, క్రియను దేవునికి అప్పగించి సమూయేలు మొదటి ప్రవక్త అయ్యాడు. పేతురు మొదటి అపొస్తలుడయ్యాడు. గృహంలో పనిచేస్తున్న చిన్నది  దైవిక సత్యాన్ని చెప్పి నయంకాని కుష్టుతో బాధపడుతున్న సిరియా రాజు సైన్యాధిపతియైన నయమాను సంపూర్ణ స్వస్థతకు కారణమైంది. రొదే అనే చిన్నది పేతురు స్వరం విని సంఘం అత్యాసక్తితో ప్రార్థిస్తున్న ప్రార్థనను దేవుడు ఆలకించాడనే సత్యాన్ని తెలియజేసింది.

• చరిత్రలో భక్తుల జీవితాలు – నేటి తరానికి ఆదర్శాలు

యేసు తనను తాను సజీవ యాగంగా సమర్పించుకొని సత్యంగా, జీవంగా, మార్గంగా మారి ఏకైక లోక రక్షకుడయ్యాడు. భక్తుల మాదిరిని లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకొని జీవించిన డేవిడ్ లివింగ్స్టన్, భక్తసింగ్ లు   గొప్ప సత్యప్రచారకులు కావటమే కాకుండా నేటి తరానికి ఆదర్శంగా నిలిచారని స్థానిక హెబ్రోన్ పాస్టర్  విజయకుమార్ చెప్పారు.

మిక్కిలి ప్రతికూల పరిస్థితుల్లో కూడా  దేవుని పనిని మానక సత్య ప్రచారంలోనే డేవిడ్ లివింగ్స్టన్ తన ప్రాణాలు ఇష్టపూర్వకంగా అర్పించాడని, ఆఫ్రికా ఖండానికి ఉజ్జీవాన్ని తెచ్చాడని,  డేవిడ్ లివింగ్స్టన్ జీవితం క్రైస్తవ మిషనరీలుగా మారాలనుకునేవారికి సాటిలేని ఆదర్శమని సంఘ పెద్ద శాంసన్ పేర్కొన్నారు. చరిత్రలోని భక్తుల జీవితాల ద్వారా దైవభక్తిని, త్యాగాన్ని, స్ఫూర్తిని నింపే సందేశాలను వక్తలు మూడురోజులపాటు అందించారు.

మూడు రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి 150 మందికి పైగా ఉత్సాహవంతులైన పిల్లలు, యువకులు, పాస్ట్రెస్‌లు, స్థానిక విశ్వాసులు హాజరయ్యారు. స్థానిక హెబ్రోన్ ఫెలోషిప్‌ నిర్వహించిన వెకేషన్ బైబిల్ స్కూల్ కార్యక్రమం దైవభక్తికి, క్రమశిక్షణకు గల ప్రాముఖ్యతను పునరుద్ఘాటించడమే కాకుండా సమకాలీన భక్తుల నుండి అంతులేని ప్రేరణ పొందవచ్చని, ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేమాభివృద్ధిని దైవిక సమాజాన్ని పెంపొందించడంలో ఇటువంటి వేదికలు అత్యంత  ప్రాముఖ్యతను వహిస్తాయని చాటింది.
