Smuggling oxygen on a camel into a besieged city in Yemen

” Putin seems to know how to “influence” the bad boys and the UN Security Council and make them follow international law – he is really good at it.  He stopped Saudi/Turkey/US magical thinking that they could attack and invade Syria for the past two or three weeks, so then they decided to destroy what is left of Yemen in their frustration and rage against Russia and allies cleaning up Syria, so Putin “influenced” them to think again by having “SNAP” exercises all over Russia for military readiness, and that caused a hesitation in the “destroy Yemen” plans.  So the last desperate puff was Kerry threatening Putin with nuclear blackmail like he did in Ukraine.  Now Putin is asking the UNSC to pass a resolution that will require the UNSC to hold a meeting once a week on the Yemen situation, so that will result in the bullies abandoning their wet dreams for Yemen (they have huge amounts of undeveloped oil deposits in tribal lands, and the tribes won’t touch it).  Well that did not go well for Kerry at all.  He understands that Syria and Ukraine belong to Russia now and to get out of Yemen… Syria will now be able to remain a sovereign nation with a strong military that Russia well equipped and anyone thinking they can fly or walk over the Syrian border will go home in a wooden box.

This has been fascinating to watch.  USAID/UN etc. are all mechanisms to loot any country they enter, but that is not going to work anymore.”
