Living Outside the Box in Costa Rica.  Leave Your HOA Rules Back Home.

One issue that I have encountered living in Costa Rica is how the foreigner retirees can’t live outside their box.  They have been conformed and obeyed, for 30-60 years, in their encapsulated society  the rules and regulations that dictate their daily lives.    They don’t know how to function with out these rules they have followed for decades.  SO they try to brings these rules down to Costa Rica to live by.  BUT NO.  Leave your shit home and learn to live without the rules.  Learn to live outside the box in a new environment.  The laws of the jungle.  BUT years of brainwashing and stubbornness fights the means to change.

Religion is another area that allies to this idea.  Throw out all religious rules.  And if you live your life as a good person.  You should be entitled to a heaven if one exist.
