FintechFans: A Decentralized Ecosystem for the FinTech Recruitment Industry

The Fintech market is booming, and the need for qualified staff is growing just as rapidly.

FintechFans is using Blockchain technology to create a decentralized employment marketplace for the FinTech community. The decentralized marketplace will remove the need for recruiters and allow potential candidates to connect directly with companies looking for FinTech staff.

FintechFans Job Board

FintechFans will have two primary systems. Fintech employers can post long-term positions on the fully functional FintechFans Job Board.

By nature, the Job Board will be a centralized environment, but a Blockchain-based metadata store and automatic payments will be available.

Decentralized Marketplace

Short-term and one-off assignments will be posted in a Decentralized Marketplace built on a set of Smart Contracts on the Ethereum Blockchain (more info on GitHub).

FintechFans has four strategic objectives for the Decentralized Market:

1. Remove recruiters from the hiring process by putting job seekers and companies in direct contact using seamless, cost-free, and clear communication.
2. Create a revolutionary review system. Transactions on the Ethereum Blockchain allow parties to finalize contracts and settle payments with a value-deposit. After contract completion, both parties will be incentivized to provide feedback for other users.
3. Enable peer-to-peer payments for contracted services. The platform facilitates speedy and secure payments without the involvement of a third party. Service contract fulfilments can be paid using the FintechCoin (FINC), an ERC20-compliant token.
4. Never charge fees for pay outs. The FintechFans Decentralized Marketplace will only charge fees for placing advertisements. No fees will be charged over pay outs for any form of work included declared hours or completed projects.

FintechFans Decentralized Crowdsale

The pre-sale phase of FintechFans token sale started on November 29, 2017, and will continue until March 31, 2018. The official crowdsale will run from April 9, 2018, through April 30, 2018. The tokens created in the FintechFans ecosystem will facilitate all interaction between employers and job seekers on the decentralized marketplace.

FintechCoin (FINC)

The new utility token, FintechCoin (FINC), will have four primary functionalities:

• Paying for the services of professional Fintech freelancers
• Purchasing advertising on publicly-visible webpages
• Posting job openings on the FintechFans Job Board
• Upgrading job openings to “premium attention” status

Fundraising will enable the creation of a Decentralized Marketplace for one-off tasks and short-term projects to expand the existing FintechFans Job Board and web portal.

Focus on Talent Development

A core focus of FintechFans is talent development for up and coming Fintech professionals.

The company will be sponsoring the 2018 FinTalent Competition in Asia. Last year about 400 university students competed at the 2017 Singapore FinTech Festival.

FintechFans will invite a minimum 1000 students to compete, and each competitor will be registered on the FintechFans Job Board.
