Australians Told Mandatory COVID Vaccinations Likely

TRUNEWS with RICK WILES While announcing a deal with Oxford University to produce a vaccine locally if trials succeed, Prime Minister confirmed the worries of millions of Australians by admitting that the shots will likely be mandatory, once a working vaccine is identified. The premier, who is a professing evangelical Christian, told radio station 3AW in Melbourne that his government has set a 95-percent vaccination rate goal, which only accounts for exemptions due to health reasons: “I would expect it to be as mandatory as you could possibly make it. There are always exemptions for any vaccine on medical grounds, but that should be the only basis. We are talking about a pandemic that has destroyed the global economy and taken the lives of hundreds of thousands all around the world, and over 430 Australians here.” With a population of roughly 25 million, and 450 official coronavirus-related deaths, the death rate there is 0.0018 percent. The infection rate has been 0.096 percent. The death rate among those who have tested positive is less than 2 percent. Acting Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly told reporters he expects there to be a “strong” number of Australians who take the vaccine voluntarily.
