Pelosi Declares Republicans ‘Enemies of the State’

TRUNEWS with RICK WILES During an interview with MSNBC on Monday afternoon, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi came unhinged as she went on the attack against President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, calling them “enemies of the state.” The speaker was talking about both her party’s efforts to ramp up spending for the U.S. Postal Service to ensure universal mail-in voting in several Democrat-controlled states and the first day of the Republican National Convention in Charlotte when she jumped the tracks and unloaded: “We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States. But again, let’s just get out there and mobilize, organize, and not let the President deter anybody from voting. And again, support the postal system which is election central. “They’re doing everything they can, suppress the vote — with your actions, scare people, intimidate by saying law enforcement will be there, diminish the role of the postal system in all of this. It’s really actually shameful. Enemies of the state.” The Republican “sedition” on display at the first night of prime time television activities at the 2020 RNC put a number of dents in the Democrats’ armor for the November election. Here are some of the highlights: • Herschel Walker Defends President – “It hurts my soul to hear the terrible names that people call Donald. The worst one is racist. I take it out as a personal insult that people would think I’ve had a 37-year friendship with a racist. People who think that don’t know what they’re talking about. Growing up in the deep South, I’ve seen racism up close. I know what it is and it isn’t Donald Trump. Just because someone loves and respect the flag, our national anthem, and our country doesn’t mean they don’t care about social justice. I care about all of those things. So does Donald Trump.” • Vernon Jones Recounts the Trump Record – “Education, jobs, safety, security, on issue after issue and in just a single term he destroyed these negative forces that have victimized the black community for decades. He gave us the opportunity to rise … he Democratic Party has become infected with the pandemic of intolerance, bigotry, socialism, anti-law enforcement bias and a dangerous tolerance for people who attack others, destroy their property and terrorize our own community,” he concluded. “That’s what this election is all about. That’s why right now more than ever America needs Donald Trump in the Oval Office for another four years.” • Kim Klacik Talks ‘BLEXIT’ – Abandoned buildings, liquor stores at every corner, drug addicts, guns on the street — that’s now the norm in many neighborhoods. You’d think Maryland taxpayers would be getting a whole lot since our taxes are out of control, instead we’re paying for decades of incompetence and corruption. Sadly the same cycle of decay exists in many of America’s Democrat-run cities. And yet the Democrats still assume that black people will vote for them no matter how much they let us down and take us for granted. We’re sick of it and we’re not gonna take it anymore. The days of blindly supporting the Democrats are coming to an end.” • Sen. Tim Scott’s American Dream – “My grandfather’s 99th birthday would have been tomorrow. Growing up, he had to cross the street if a white person was coming. He suffered the indignity of being forced out of school as a third grader to pick cotton, and never learned to read or write. Yet, he lived to see his grandson become the first African American to be elected to both the United States House and Senate. Our family went from cotton to Congress in one lifetime. And that’s why I believe the next American century can be better than the last. There are millions of families like mine across this nation – full of potential seeking to live the American Dream. And I’m here tonight to tell you that supporting the Republican ticket gives you the best chance of making that dream a reality.” • Nurse: Trump Saved Lives – Registered Nurse Amy Ford, who worked as a COVID relief nurse in New York and Texas said that she saw firsthand how the president’s “quick action and leadership saved thousands of lives” during the early days of the coronavirus plandemic. She added that his expansion of telehealth services will have a lasting impact well beyond the current plandemic. • Right to Try Saved Lives, Too – Cancer survivor Natalie Harp told the 2020 RNC that President Trump’s policies that supported Right to Try legislation ultimately saved her life. She accused Democrats of only offering lip service to “healthcare,” adding that if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 election: “we’d all be living in Pottersville, sold out to a crooked Mr. — Or I should say Mrs. Potter, with no hope of escape except death itself.” • ‘Honest Citizens’ – Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the Saint Louis attorneys who are being prosecuted for using their Second Amendment rights to defend their home against a Black Lives Matter mob, warned that Democrats “no longer view the government’s job as protecting honest citizens from criminal, but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens.” The lifelong Democrats also announced their support for President Trump. Night 2 of the 2020 RNC will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. EDT. Among the speakers tonight: • Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) • Florida Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez • Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron • Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi • Pro-Life Advocate Abby Johnson • Navajo Nation Vice President Myron Lizer • Nicholas Sandmann • “First Son” Eric Trump • “First Daughter” Tiffany Trump The keynote speaker will be First Lady Melania Trump. Another major speech will be made by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo – who will break with more than two centuries of tradition to address a political convention – who is on a diplomatic trip to Jerusalem.
