A leading rabbi for the Israeli Defense Forces has been reaching out to the nation’s troops – now being massed because of the unrelenting missile attacks from Gaza over the past few days – through social media.
According to a new report in Israel Today, the soldiers are being called up for active military duty in preparation for a possible invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, so the rabbi has been posting inspirational scriptures on Twitter.
Just yesterday was posted Zechariah 12:10, “A passage Christians and Messianic Jews see as pointing to Yeshua as Messiah,” the report said.
That states, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication.”

Odd that a rabbi should be quoting ZACHARIAH 12:10, which reads “They shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him,” etc.” That quote is a prophecy of Christ being pierced in the heart by a spear while He was dying on the cross. Pierced in the heart by the Romans who were manipulated into crucifying Christ by the Sanhedrin, which was composed of Jewish rabbis.
