Father-of-four from Uzbekistan arrested as Stockholm terror suspect

The man arrested on suspicion of killing four people Friday – by ramming a stolen beer truck into Stockholm’s crowded Drottninggatan pedestrian street – is being held “on suspicion of terrorist crimes through murder,” Karin Rosander, Sweden’s prosecutor’s office spokeswoman said Saturday.. She said he matched the image of a hoodie-clad man released after the attack which also injured 15 people. A second man was detained Saturday. The Swedish daily Aftonbladet described the first suspect as a 39-year old father-of-four from Uzbekistan who had claimed he was responsible for the attack. Some media reported that he had posted jihadist propaganda on Faceboook, depicting victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
