Tzipi Livni strongly lambasts Netanyahu and the Mossad director
Tzipi Livni, former Foreign Minister of Israel and the leader of the Hatnuah party, strongly criticized Netanyahu’s government at a conference held at The Israel Democracy Institute in Herzliya on Tuesday, calling on all opposition forces to overthrow Netanyahu’s government.
“The departure of Adel al-Jabir was shocking for me,” Livni said, “what exactly are Yossi Cohen and the Mossad doing? How long should we see defeat of the Mossad operations and plans? We had definite plans for Adel al-Jubair; but he, contrary to what we had expected, was abandoned which resulted in another defeat of our operations. This is the greatest weakness and inability of the Netanyahu government and the Mossad that they cannot support Israel’s loyal forces in the region. A ceasefire with the Palestinian terrorists and an attempt to resolve the differences by negotiating just indicates the inability and uncertainty of the government to solve this problem.”
“Netanyahu has spent 70 days outside of the country over the past year. He has torn Israel and is trying to cover his inefficiencies and weakness with diplomatic gestures,” Livni added and once more asked all opposition forces to prevent the Likud party to return to the Knesset and take over the government.
